An Admirers' Site Dedicated to Johnny Depp and His Work
Celebrating our 20 years online, Johnny-Depp.org comes with a brand new layout using a parallax effect (which unfortunately does not show perfectly on mobile, so also try a bigger screen instead).
I hope you like it. I know there are still not all sections perfectly working with the new layout (downloads) but in a few days this should be solved.

We have to celebrate: this website, Johnny-Depp.org, is getting 20 years old today. That’s quite a lot. Johnny-Depp.org is with me nearly half of my life. So, let’s celebrate!
this site was opened on February 8, 2004, by myself, Martina, under the name “the Johnny Depp-Archives” with the domain johnnydepp-archives.com. I had the plan to create the perfect Johnny Depp Fansite. Well, it wasn’t perfect at all to begin with. In fact, the layout was crap – because I did not know enough html at that time, the content was in English and German, and my English was really bad, and there wasn’t a lot of content.
Some month later, I could buy the rare domain johnny-depp.org from a fellow fan (Katha).
My html knowledge improved and the layouts went better and better and I even learnt to code php scripts. I switched to the blogging platform WordPress and just coded a very own gallery plugin.
Here are some layouts from the recent times.
For at about 10 years, I had so many good friends who helped me keep the site running and who filled it with content. We were workaholics. There was so much content added and we were often the first who had news.

Johnny Depp joined Sir Rod Steward on a private charity event performing together on February 3, 2024 at the Ned Hotel in London.
The two joined forces to raise money for Celia Hammond’s Animal Trust, raising over $300,000 to help rescue stray cats and kittens.

Please take a look at our brand new recoded gallery! It took me quite some months to code this WordPress plugin (because I taught myself how to do) and I imported all the galleries we had before and it’s much easier to add new pictures now and it does not take as long as before to load. It also brings a lovely slideshow feature.
I’m also looking for a wonderful person who would like take care of our galleries section and add pictures as soon as they come up in the internet. You should be able to save pictures on your harddrive, rename them and reupload them. If you think, you could do the job, just drop me a mail!

As every layout of Johnny-Depp.org is artwork, too, here’s a journey through some of the website looks we had before. With not much knowledge at the beginning, please forgive some are not that good. In 2007 we had at about 10 different “skins”. Which layout do you like best?
