Johnny getting Russian George Melies Award
Johnny received the George Melies award in 2007 for “Simply the Best” (for life). His bandmate and friend Bill “Beano” Hanti accepted the awards for Johnny and promised to give the awards to him at this year’s Sheila Witkin Concert/Event.
Georges Melies is also connected to Johnny in the book that Johnny’s optioned called The Invention of Hugo Cabret?
Melies is well revered as a film maker pioneer. His is the creator of the trip of the Moon film from 1902 and was a great influence on the silent film era which we know that Johnny is so fond of.

Filming For Alice in Wonderland Has Started at the Antony House
Although Filming has started for Tim Burton’s Alice
in Wonderland at the Antony House there is still no word
whether Johnny will be present for filming there. A
spokeswoman for production has told the Herald that
Johnny won’t be filming at Antony, in Plymouth or anywhere in the UK.She added that Disney has not yet confirmed he would be appearing in the film at all. The Mad Hatter’s tea party is among the scenes being filmed in Antony and Johnny is rumored to be playing the part of the Mad Hatter, but it is also rumored he will be a CGI graphic.

It has now been announced that johnny will not be filming in the uk at all. IF Johnny is attached to the project his part will be filmed elsewhere, you can read more here

Hey everyone! I’m Angie!
I just recently joined the crew over here at JDorg and I couldn’t be more thrilled. As of now, I will be answering the FAQ. I don’t know EVERYTHING there is to know about Johnny and therefore may not be able to answer EVERY single question, but I do pride myself in having a considerable knowledge on all things Johnny and I will try my best to answer as accurately as possible and what I don’t know I promise to do my best to find the answer. Depp Photo Error Costs Oshkosh BID Almost $12,000
Oshkosh’s Business Improvement District advertising
campaign costed $12,000 more than expected after
publication of promotional advertisements had to be
reprinted because the ad used a photo of Johnny
without permission. The photo was taken by a local
resident and BID did not seek Universal Studios’
permission to use Depp’s image. Local officials
brought it to BID’s attention after the publications
had already been printed.

Starz Sets Cross-Dressing Documentary
Starz has hired John Landis to put together
a 60 minute documentary on cross-dressing in
the movies. It will be entitled Ladies or
Gentlemen based on the book by Jean-Louis
Ginibre. The documentary will include several
actors including Johnny.
