Johnny Depp Launches New Ebenezer Movie Press Tour in New York
Johnny Depp is back on the red carpet, kicking off the press tour for his new Christmas movie Ebenezer with a special screening on Sunday night, November 1, at The Whitby Hotel in New York City.
He was joined at the event by fellow cast members Andrea Riseborough and Tramell Tillman, along with director Ti West.
Based on Charles Dickens’ 1843 novel A Christmas Carol, the official logline for the fantasy film teases: “This November, Johnny is Ebenezer Scrooge. The name you know, the story you don’t.”
The star-studded cast also includes Rupert Grint as Bob Cratchit, Andrea Riseborough as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Sam Claflin as Fred, Daisy Ridley as Emily Cratchit, Arthur Conti as young Ebenezer, Ellie Bamber as Isabel Fezziwig, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Charlie Murphy, Tramell Tillman as the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Ian McKellen as Jacob Marley.
Ebenezer hits theaters on November 13, marking the first major wide release of a movie starring him since 2018’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
