Staffers needed
Some of our staffers had to quit completely or partially or disappeared – so we need new staffers especially for the Affiliates section and FAQ as well as later editor for the whole site, maybe partial support in the news section also, once we switched to WordPress. Both, Affiliates and FAQ are handled through an admin panel, no html knowledge is required, but (at least for the FAQ) good English knowledge and a lot of free time. You should have a little bit technical knowledge, though to find through the admin panels easily. Write your application to admin(at)johnny-depp.org and we will reply if we are interested!
Also, if there is a huge WordPress geek out there willing to help to switch the site to WordPress, apply right away!
People’s Choice Award 2010
Johnny is among the People’s Choice Award nominees announced in Los Angeles Tuesday. He will compete for the favorite movie actor prize against Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds and Robert Pattinson.

The Awards are to be handed out at a ceremony on Jan. 6, 2010 at the Nokia Theater, L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

Halloween at the White House
Maybe you were wondering were and how Johnny spent this year’s Halloween.
He obviously was together with Tim Burton in Washington D.C. at the White House Halloween special event. People who were there told that he was dressed up as the Mad Hatter and Tim wore an eye patch. Also Deep Roy dressed as the Oompa Loompa was there. Unfortunately there are no photos (of Johnny) because inside the White House there was a no photo policy.
