Johnny to present Brit Awards to Oasis
On Feb. 14th, 07 Johnny will participate in the Brit Awards live show as a presenter, where he will hand out the special achievement award to Oasis.

Keith Richards has a short cameo to play Captain Jack Sparrow’s father in Pirates of the Caribbean 3 – at worlds’ end.
The pic was taken from Martin Klebba’s personal collection and sent to comingsoon.net. To not make him any trouble we have taken down the link to the site having it, but there are already so many sites having it uploaded.
A short description of what I saw:
a Keith Richards in a 1:1 copied Jack Sparrow look. That makes not only me a bit said: isn’t our beloved Jack Sparrow the individual pirate we always thought, but just a cheap copy of his dad? We exspected a bit more individualism!
New news staffer at the end!
Since nobody wanted to be in the staff as a news staffer,
I decided to ask carezza, if she’d like to take over that job.

DMC no. 1 movie in the UK in 2006
Now it’s official – Dead Man’s Chest is the top-grossing movie in the UK and Ireland for 2006 earning 52 Million Pounds. The new James Bond movie Casino Royale reached 2nd place with 44.6 Million Pounds.

Dead Man’s Chest has won the International Press Academy Satellite Award for Visual Effects. Congrats to John Knoll and Hal Hickey.

Starz giveaways – JD.org won!!

Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award Nominations
Johnny was just nominated for the 64th Golden Globe for Best Actor Musical/Comedy Movies for his performace as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 – Dead Man’s Chest.
The other nominess for best actor in a comedy or musical are Sasha Baron Cohen (“Borat”) Aaron Eckhart (“Thank You for Smoking”), Chiwetel Ejiofor (“Kinky Boots”) and Will Ferrell (“Stranger Than Fiction”) (cnn.com
The Golden Globes will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on January 15, 2007.
Another nomination a few days ago were the 12th annual Critics’ Choice Awards on Tuesday,
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest has been nominated for Best Family Movie.
Survey results
Thanks a lot to all the visitors taking part in our survey,
it was really very helpful.
43 visitors did take part.
I will go through some of the answers and telling you what we’re planning to do.
The survey told me, that all layouts are loved in an equal way. Some where more disliked than others, but there were always some of whom it was the favourite layout. So they will all stay.
I also got told, that some of them are not viewable in the Mac IE. That’s true, since I have it myself. The Mac IE does not understand valid xhtml, it is old and does make mistakes. I will see, if I can find a valid hack to make some extra code for it.
I got some ideas for future skins: lighter blue, one where you really see his eyes, award ceremonies and galleries/appearances, more skins with his characters, red, brighter and newer pics, Jake Chessum, Jack Sparrow, red and black, together with Vanessa, pink, no pink (<–haha, right after each other…).
So, yes, some character skins will come within the time, it was most wished, and brighter colors, yes, I’ll try my best. It looks always so much brighter on my very new Mac than on some PCs I used.
Only one did not like the long navigation, everybody else liked it, and the gallery navigation, too.
Favourite sections were most part the Johnny section,
AFI Awards of Australian Film Institute
Johnny wasn’t nominated for the AFI Awards of Australian Film Institute this year,
but he appeared anyway:
Geoffrey Rush moderated the evening,
and suddenly Jack Sparrow was shown on the screen telling him,
that he may be the Captain THAT evening,
but we know who the true Captain is (showing to himself).
