A great girl and friend of the site workers had the opportunity to go and see Johnny in Chicago!! It was a night they wont forget and Cassie sent us her story and also alot of awesome photos that are so very wonderful!!!! Thank you so much Cassie for sharing these with our site, we are honored!!!

HOW I MET JOHNNY DEPP.

OK, ME AND 2 OTHER FRIENDS WENT TO AURORA, ILLINOIS TO SEE IF WE COULD SEE JOHNNY DEPP. WE GOT THERE ABOUT 7:00 AT NIGHT AND THERE WAS LIKE 200 PEOPLE ALREADY THERE. WE PUSHED OUR WAY UP THE THE FRONT BY THE BARACADES. THE CREW KEPT SAYING OH JOHNNY’S COMING OUT SOON. SO WE WAITED AND WAITED. IT WAS ABOUT MIDNIGHT NOW AND THERE WAS A SEMI TRUCK PARKED IN FRONT OF THE PARAMONT THEATER. THE TRUCK SLOWLY PULLED AWAY AND GUESS WHO WAS BEHIND THE TRUCK? JOHNNY DEPP!!! HE WALKED OVER TO OUR SIDE OF THE CROWD ANS WAS SHAKING HANDS AND GREETING FANS. IF YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE I WAS GOING COMPLETLY INSANE!! SCREAMING MY BRAINS OUT! HE FINALLY GOT IN FRONT OF ME HE TOOK MY RIGHT HAND WITH BOTH HANDS AND LOOKED STRAIGHT INTO MY EYES!! I SAID I LOVE YOU JOHNNY!! HE SAID LOVE YOU TOO!!! WHEN HE SAID THAT MY HEART JUMPED OUT OF MY CHEST!! THEN HE KEPT WALKING DOWN THE CROWD AND SHAKING HANDS. THEN HIS BODY GAURDS TOOK HIM AROUND THE CORNER. WELL, YOU WOULD THINK THIS STORY IS OVER BUT IT’S NOT!!

Johnny sprung into action when six extras were
endangered by an out of control car during
filming. A stunt driver in a 1933 Ford car hit
a patch of ice and skidded towards 6 extras with
their backs turned unaware of the danger.
An eyewitness told a British newspaper that,
“Johnny slammed into the group with his arms out
shoving the group back.”

Seems that everyone wants to get their hands on
a copy of the book Public Enemies written in 2004
by Bryan Burrough on which Depp’s film is based.

Bookstores are coming up empty handed. Seems Depp’s
appearance in Crown Point recently increased interest
in the book. Since the book is 4 years old not many
bookstore chains have very many copies, but they are
doing their best to fill orders.

The book titled Public Enemies: America’s Greatest
Crime Wave and Birth of the FBI, 1933-34 is a
nonfiction 592 page volume. It covers the two year
battle between the FBI and Gangsters like Dillinger.

Oshkosh Filming has started today, but the streets of Oshkosh are still being transformed in preparation for filming to start in other areas of town.

he will play FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.

Also on board are Stephen Lang as Winstead, the
Texas Rangers leader who joined the manhunt for
Dillinger and his gang.
