Johnny Spent Father’s Day in LA
Johnny was seen coming off a private plane to an awaiting car to head to his LA home to spend Father’s Day with his kids.

I added some pics from the filming of PE in Milwaukee (June 10th and 12th)

Filming Set to Wrap Up June 30th
Filming is near completion going over
budget and soon to go over the amount
of time allowed for script shooting days.
Filming started on March 17th and the
project was only scheduled for 69 shooting
days according to contract but the film will
end up wrapping shooting at the end of
the month. The film is set to open in
theaters July 2009.
Pinched to complete on June 30th scenes
are scheduled for Saturdays.

Filming Moves to Joliet Prison
After filmimg in Aurora in April and several
other cities in Illinois filming moves to
Joliet and Crest Hill this week to shoot prison
scenes.
Scenes will be shot at the Closed Joliet
Correctional Center and Stateville Correctional
Center in Crest Hill. A spokesman for the Illinois
Film Office, Ashley Cross said, “Public Enemies is
scheduled to be in Joliet starting on Monday.
But their schedule is a bit fluid.”

Depp Gives His Hat to an Oshkosh Boy
12 year old Jack Taylor from Oshkosh got
a package in the mail from Johnny’s
production company Thursday containing
a variety of Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory promotional gifts along with a
vintage fedora Depp told Taylor he could
have when he was in town in April for
filming.
“All I really said was Can I have your
hat? Taylor stated then Depp’s response
was “When I’m done with it, it’s yours.”
He was actually pretty cool Taylor added.
Taylor’s parents tracked down Depp’s agent
to make sure his promise was fulfilled.
However Depp did follow through and included
enough stuff for all of his siblings along
with a personal note from him stating
“Enjoy the Hat and the cool Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory stuff” and signed it himself.
Jack was surprised and delighted when he got the
package stating “It’s Pretty Awesome.”

CARY’S AIRPORT ENCOUNTER
I actually met him in an airport in Ohio. It was amazing because I was having a terrible day – my flight had been delayed forever, then I ended up having to take a different plane that went through Ohio instead of Atlanta- I was on my way to Lexington, Kentucky from California, where I went to school, to visit family for Christmas. Johnny was actually on his way from Lexington (where his mom lives also)to California. I was walking through the airport to catch another flight when I spotted him out of the corner of my eye! I just happened to turn my head and look into a bar and there he was sitting behind a post at a table with several other men. I nearly died, as I am a HUGE fan. Before that I always wondered if I would actually recognize him if I ever saw him in person, but at that moment I had no doubts. He looked exactly like he did in the movies, but as I’ve told people after, who never believe me, I think he’s actually more gorgeous in person- which is very intimidating! I was freaking out and started pacing up and down in front of the bar trying to decide what to do. I saw a woman in the bar go up and shake his hand and decided I would do that (even though at the time I wasn’t even old enough to legally enter)! After briefly looking for a pen (which I couldn’t find) I marched up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

Depp Wedding Rumors Not True
The rumors that Johnny will marry Vanessa this
June have been shot down by Johnny’s publicist
Robin Baum she says, “There is no truth to these
rumors.”

Kincaid’s Depp Sandwich
In honor of Johnny and the rest of the filming
crew Kincaid’s Restaurant in Wisc. has renamed their
French Dip Sandwich to the Wisconsin French Depp.
All profits are being donated to the Make a Wish
Foundation of Wisconsin.
The sandwich features rock salt-roasted prime rib,
Wisconsin white cheddar cheese, pickled onions,
grated horseradish sauce and house-made au jus.
Yummy sounds good to me!
