Collectors Signed Item from Johnny!!!
JDorg in collaboration with Markedmen and Scabvender is auctioning off a collector’s newspaper, that is signed and noted by Johnny Depp. The newspaper is from September 14th, 1994 and the headline was commented on by Johnny himself. It wil be accompanied by a statement of authenticity and a note with the descripition on how the comment came about. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to Marty Klabba’s charity, CoDA (Coalition of Dwarf Advocacy) The bidding will start on Tuesday at 7 pm EST and will be updated on ebay around the clock and here at Jdorg every three hours until the closing bid on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. EST. The winner will be announced on JDORG.
The Rum Diary Casting Calls
First announced in May of 2005, could The Rum Diary finally be moving forward with Johnny Depp starring?
TheBadandUgly.com has received a casting announcement that suggests the Hunter S. Thompson adaptation will be Depp’s next, as it lists a March 2009 start date. Depp will play Paul Kemp, a freelance journalist writing for a rundown newspaper in 1950s Puerto Rico and surrounded by a bunch of lost souls bent on self-destruction. Bruce Robinson wrote the screenplay and will direct.
Depp previously starred in the big screen adaptation of Thompson’s “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.”

No,no,no…no need to worry. Johnny isn’t anywhere near the category “worst”. He was chosen by E! Online as the hottest presenter…and we fully agree of course!!He was short,spoke with what it seemed to be a ‘Dillinger’ accent, but Johnny was intense!

Hottest Presenter: We’re going with Johnny Depp, because he seemed like he just woke up from some sexy dream, and because Glenn Close looked like an excited schoolgirl when he came onstage. Trust us, it ain’t easy to get Close to squeal.

Johny at the Golden Globes
Johnny looked dapper and of course handsome as ever. He spoke in his soft voice (a bit raspy as if maybe he is fighting a small cold).Of course clearly nervous like always.He was wearing a black on white tux with no tie. The boots were put away for the evening as he wore nice black shoes to match. His hair was still a bit short in the back and has grown a bit longer in the front (almost down to his jaw line). He didn?t have his glasses on but sported his facial hair that has grown back completely. His sleeves long and neat mostly covered whatever jewelry he may have worn.
He walked up and announced,
?It is my great pleasure to present the nominations for?.?
He read the names,
And said,
?And the golden globe goes to??
and that was it.
It was wonderful to see you Johnny, even though we know you could do without the nerve-wracking experience and that you do it for us?.Thank you Johnny.
