Ryan Adams Reveals Album Details, Johnny Depp Plays Guitar on B-Side

Ryan Adams has confirmed that his forthcoming album will be released on September 9 via his own PaxAm Records in conjunction with Columbia. The self-titled LP will feature 11 tracks, including the recently released single “Gimme Something Good.” The album is now available for pre-order.

In related news, the B-side for “Gimme Something Good”—a song called “Aching For More”—includes an appearance by actor Johnny Depp, who plays guitar on the new track.

Johnny Depp’s Whitey Bulger Movie Set for Sept. 18, 2015

Warner Bros. has set a Sept. 18, 2015 release date for its untitled Whitey Bulger biopic starring Johnny Depp.

The movie has been shooting in Boston with Scott Cooper directing a cast that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Jesse Plemons (“Breaking Bad”), Sienna Miller, Dakota Johnson, Adam Scott and Corey Stoll.

Cumberbatch will portray Billy Bulger, Whitey Bulger’s law-abiding brother and a Massachusetts State Senator. Edgerton is playing disgraced FBI agent John Connolly, who aided Bulger and was sentenced to 40 years in prison despite maintaining his innocence.

Johnny says “Hi” to his fans in Boston!

This Monday, while shooting Black Mass in Boston, Johnny  said “hi” to the crowd!

The WCVB and the Boston Globe reported that the Black Mass production filmed the St. Patrick’s  Day celebration this Monday 23th , so all the streets of the town were closed down. However, his fans still were trying to get a glimpse of Depp.

Rhys Ifans to Join Johnny Depp in Disney’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Sequel (Exclusive)

James Bobin is directing the sequel, which will co-star Sacha Baron Cohen as the villain

“The Amazing Spider-Man” villain Rhys Ifans has signed on to play Johnny Depp’s father in “Alice in Wonderland 2,” TheWrap has learned.

James Bobin (“The Muppets”) is directing the sequel, which will find Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter reprising their roles as Alice and the Red Queen, respectively. Sacha Baron Cohen will play a villain named Time.
