As a history student and in life we learn that throughout all time there are individuals that are remembered for one reason or another. Some, for larger actions such as monumental tasks and some for inventions or discoveries. The entertainment industry is no different. There are many talented people, some whom will never be known to the majority, who spend their entire lives bringing entertainment to those around them. Then there are the iconic names. These are people that no matter where you are in the world, no matter what age group you address, or in what language, the name is all that need to utter for eyes to light up. Elvis, The Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, Al Pacino and Johnny Depp. The words that will ring throughout time and reach across the generations, cultural or language barrier that so often separates us on this globe. What do these people accomplish that others cannot? There may be no definitive answer to that quandary. What makes one stand out from the rest? What do we see in these spirits that pull us to them?
As I have surfed this tool we call the net I have found a world that I didn?t know existed. As I have spent time to get to know you on the other side of this great chasm, Johnny has become a bridge that has allowed me to walk, virtually, to places I have never imagined. From Germany to Ireland; Argentina to Denmark; Belgium to South Africa.
