On April 17th 2004 four lucky Johnny Depp – fans met Johnny on the Ilse of Man, where he was filming the movie “The Libertine” at that time, here is the report written by Lisa (and her sister Jo’s additionss) from Jo’s yahoo-group Heavenly_Johnny_Depp, two of the now happiest Johnny Depp – Fans.

Friday 16th April 2004
My sister Jo, her mate Natalie and I flew into the Isle Of Man on
Friday morning where we met up with a mate of Natalies called
Melina. We were there with only one intention – to get as close to
Johnny Depp as was humanly possible.
We were lucky as the B and B we were staying in was located very
close to the studios where they are filming the Libertine. Once we
had checked into the B and B we drove down to the studios.
We arrived and drove right up to the main buildings where this really
unhelpful guy came to speak to us. He told us Johnny never stops to
speak to his fans and no autographs were allowed. Then, next, we
spoke to the security guard (Warren) who was so friendly. He
informed us that Johnny was not at the studios today but that he
would be there tomorrow and Sunday filming all day. He was very
honest with us and said that he would arrive in a car with blacked
out windows and that the car would probably drive straight passed
us.
We stayed and chatted to Warren a bit and then he asked us if we
would like a tour of the set – I mean did he really have to ask!!!!!
It was amazing – we saw where the crew and actors ate lunch etc and
then went on to the set its self. The set was the theatre, where a
play is put on that Johnny’s character (the Earl of Rochester)
writes. Warren pointed out what boxes Johnny and John Malkovich
(King Charles) would sit in and we saw the stage area. The set did
seem very small but it was amazing to think that this is where Johnny
works!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday 17th April 2004
We got to the Studios for 4.30am in the morning, we thought there may
have been a crowd there! – Extras started arriving to go into make up
at about 6am. We got talking to Warren again who said that Johnny
would be arriving in a silver Audi A8 and that he would probably be

It all seemed a bit of a chuckle at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards – with celebrities happy to make a fool of themselves. Monday April 04, 2005.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star was on stage, all set to pull the gunk lever on fellow actor Ben Stiller – who had agreed to stand beneath the bucket of green slime. However, in true trickster style, when Johnny pulled the lever he was the one whose white t-shirt turned a slimy green. Top prize has to go to Johhny Depp, who was unwittingly gunged.

Woohoo! I finaly met Johnny!!!…the isle of man used to be boring but now it’s great! …ok then here comes the story… Johnny had been filming all day at Island Studios, just down my road and so naturally, being the HUGE fan that i am. I set of down the studios to wait outside…i don’t care how long it takes I WILL MEET HIM!…2 and a half hours and alot of rain later …phill (the security guard) spotted a big silver audi with tinted windows at the back coming down the drive…I was like OMG OMG! “I think this is his car” he said….i nearly fainted, i was that excited! My heart was racing! His car drove up and it stopped..then his luvly bodyguard got out, then Johnny got out of the back!! he was soooo nice to me coz he was asking how i was as if we were old mates that hadn’t seen eachother for like 200 years! By this time it was absolutly pissin it down and the poor security guard was doing his best holding the umberella over me and Johnny. I had some piccies and things with me for him to sign so he got back in the car to sign them…but here comes the best bit… Then Johnny said don’t be silly come in outta the rain…so i got in and SAT IN THE BACK OF HIS CAR! with him sitting right next to me! I was like OMG OMG! (again!)…there were quite a few OMG moments throughout the meeting!! So then he signed all my stuff and we were tlking about the film and stuff and wether he liked the Isle of Man…he said he loved it over here..but just didn’t like the weather! (well who could blame him!) He asked me whereabouts i lived so i told him…and then he started telling me where he was staying! He also said he’d been up since 5:30 that morning!! And asked me how long i’d been waiting outside the studios! When i told him how long he said…awww poor you…OMG he’s sooo considerate towards his fans! Then i asked him wether he;d mind having a few photies taken and he said sure no problem…so then me and johnny got back out of the car (woh..that sounds dodgy!) and the bodyguard took some photies…then totally by acident the camera “broke” so we all gathered round to try and fix it…luckly we got it working!…it was totally by acident of course me and johnny posed for the picture and he PUT HIS ARM ROUND ME! and then i put my arm round him! (another big OMG! moment there!) and then he said that he had to go…but he asked me if i was ok for a lift home! well dumass here said o yeah, i’ve got a lift!…What the hell was i thinking! i should of said no!! Oh well maybe it was for the best…we dont want the men in white coats to come along after all…So then we said our goodbyes and then all of a sudden johnny turned round and GAVE ME A HUG!!

We were lucky enough to meet Johnny last week whilst he was at Charlecote Park filming The Libertine. He was wearing the exact same clothes that he has on in that picture of him this weekend in Brussels. He was a really nice guy and was happy to sign things and take photographs for us. Now we are slightly obsessed as we neva thought the man himself would be 2 minutes down the road!!!! yeah we went to stanway house tonight to try and see but they were gone! neva mind seein him twice would be greedy!! We had to sweet talk a security guard and eventually after 2 hrs he took us to his trailor!!!! then we had to wait outside for ages while he had a shower!!! not that we were complainin!!! yeah! we went one day just to have a look about and just saw a few extras! then went back the next day and talked to the security guard. He told us to come back at half 10 that night and hed see what he could do! and he did good!!!! i have a picture with his arm around me!!! OMG!!! insanely lucky. I just wish we’d sed more to him we were a bit dumbstruck to be honest. now we keep discussing all the things we should have said I said “hi nice to meet you, thankyou for this” and he shook my hand and said “wow your hands are freezin sorry i kept you waiting so long” then he put his arm around me and gave my camera to his mate who took a picture then he asked my name and signed my potc video!!! he then did similar stuff with my best mate, commenting on how cool her digital camera was!!! he thensaid goodnight and thanks for comin out and got in his audi!!!! wavin as they drove off!!!
