Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet are ‘Finding Neverland’!:

[Hollywood News]: London, Oct 18 : Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet walked down the red carpet for the UK premiere of their forthcoming flick, ‘Finding Neverland’.

The movie tells the tale of Peter Pan author JM Barrie, played by Depp, and the ‘Titanic’ beauty plays Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, a mother whose young sons inspired Barrie to write the unforgettable classic.

The proceeds from the London premiere, held in Leicester Square, would go for the benefit of the ‘Great Ormond Street Hospital’, which treats sick children.

Meanwhile, Depp has confessed that it was difficult for him to get the Scottish accent required for the role.

“Musically, rhythmically, I initially couldn’t quite get a hold of it. Luckily, I found this dialect coach who helped me out a great deal,” the BBC quoted Depp as saying.

Kate, who was clad in a shimmering floor-length turquoise Ben de Lisi dress at the premiere, said that motherhood helped her play the part of Sylvia to her best potential.

“I don’t think I could have played Sylvia if I wasn’t a mother. There is something about the physicality of being a parent that you don’t know about until you become one,” the stunning actress added. (ANI)

Kate Winslet says Johnny Depp interrupted filming on their latest movie – by secretly using a fart machine.

The sexy actress, who stars with Johnny in new movie ‘Finding Neverland’, revealed the 41-year-old actor disrupted the shoot by playing practical jokes during intense takes.

She told Britain’s The Sun newspaper : “There was one scene when we were having dinner together. It was a difficult scene and that’s when Johnny did one of the most triumphant things I have ever seen an actor do – he had a fart machine under the table.”
But 29-year-old Kate, who is married to director Sam Mendes, claims the cast had no idea the stunt was a joke – and thought someone had really broken wind.

Stunning Kate admitted both she and her four child-co-stars struggled to ignore the trick because no-one knew what to say.

She confessed: “The first take was priceless. The boys didn’t want to speak, to say, ‘Somebody’s farted.’ But then it happened again and we were bursting with laughter.”

But Kate admits Johnny’s fart machine actually helped make the shoot a success.

She added: “That was the thing that made the scene work. That was totally down to Johnny.”

It’s not the first time Johnny has been caught using the realistic machine on the set of his films.

So I did manage to speak to JOhnny at the after party. I snuck up to him
when the security wasn’t around & Vanessa was standing next to him. Said
hi, how brilliant I thought he was in the film, mentioned pinewood & asked
if he rememebred me lol. It went really quickly & I don’t have a pic with/autograph
(we were told we weren’t allowed & that if we tried it’d get embarrasing).
But I got the eye contact and got to touch his lovely hand again. Having
Vanessa looking at me as well as Johnny was very odd lol.
The security was way over-the-top. Much worse than when I’ve been inside
other things like this. And you were really lucky if you got to speak to
him. It had to be either just before everyone took their seats, like me,
or afterwards if you were lucky enought to catch him before getting in the
car to leave (Jo & Lisa). Janine also managed to meet him before he left
during the meal 🙂

Oh and of course Johnny was very, very good in the film 🙂 But I hate to

I got up Sunday morning and headed off to work. I’d lied to my boss to get out of work early told them I had a family occasion to attend. They bought it and I left work at 1:00pm. I immediately shot off to London being as how I live about 1/2 hour away.

I arrived in Leicester Square to see there were already hundreds of people waiting outside the Odeon. My friend and I found a decent spot outside Garfunkels and waited for 4 hours. Finally at around 6:45 an Audi with blacked out windows pulled up next to the red carpet. Three people got out of the car, and a couple of them made their way down the red carpet. There was a long pause and the back door opened. Out stepped Johnny Depp in a black suit, grey waistcoat, white shirt and a red tie. Everyone in the crowd screamed.

He casually made his way around the hundreds people signing and having photos taken. Finally he got to me, I was shaken and terrified. My friend spoke for me: “This girl is your biggest fan and has been for years, believe me I know all about you because of her.”

Johnny replied, “Really?” and looked at me.

My Friend said, “Yes, she spent ages writing you this letter.”

She handed him my letter, and he said “Really? For me? That’s great, thank you so much,

Today was so boring so here’s yesterday in a bloody nutshell LOL!!!

Met Lucy and her mum at 7:30am and headed off for Wimbledon where we met Sinead and her mates at 8am. Cat woke up late so we met her in Leicester Square at like 9:30. We went to the Trocadero at like 10am and we hung out in all the shops and met Alison and her mum. Then at 10:30am we found our places next to some very nice girls. Some women was offering us 2 tickets to the Incredibles preview but we had more than 2 people. We found our own fun, singing songs, reading mags, taking pics, playing games etc. Some freaky rose man kept coming around saying ‘Hello beautifuls….would you like a rose?’ and we were like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO GO AWAY!!! The girl next to me had to kiss him EWWWWWW!!! ANYWAY…at like 4, the place started getting packed and stuff and it was bloody mayhem. Some man was interviewing us for Belgian TV….we declared our love for Johnny Depp on Belgian TV. And some guy was filming the crowd around us and paused on me and I was like ‘WOOOOOO JOHNNY!’ but then he was still there so I was like ‘Hi!…..Hi!……OOOOOOOOOK!’ lol!! At 5pm a drop of rain fell on me and Cat and Cat was like ‘EURGH IS THAT BIRD POO?” then rain came POURNING down spontaneously on the red carpet which was squelching.

Meeting Johnny Depp on the After Show Party of the Finding Neverland Premiere. London, October 17th, 2004.

Although I am a huge Johnny Depp-fan for over 10 years, I considered it absolutely impossible to ever meet him. Didn’t even think of it.
Until that day, October 2004: I read an announcement on the JohhyDeppZone: “tickets for sale, Finding Neverland Premiere and After Show Party. Join us for an evening with the stars, Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet a.o.”….Usually these tickets are not for sale, but this was for charity aim (the Children’s hospital to which J.M. Barrie left the Peter Pan-rights !). So, after a few days of calling London, I got those tickets….and started to dream what it would be like to really, really, meet Johnny Depp…..

And…: my dream came true….: I met Johnny, and Vanessa, spoke with him, both of them, just the three of us, at their dinner table.

In the Cinema I saw Johnny only on stage, far away.
But Vanessa watched the movie in the row in front of me. Johnny did not join her.

Hey guys – I thought I should inform u that I did have an encounter
with the one and only inspiring Johnny on the 17th October 04 at the
london premiere of ‘finding neverland’ it was so much fun, standing
just a foot away from Mr Depp i got his autograph, thanked him, told
him i loved him and he gave me a sweet smile! He was so sweet and
gorgeous he signed nearly everybodies things and looked so beautiful
for the whole night. I saw Vanessa Paradis (who looked stunning) she
was quite obviously pregnant – breaking news! she is very petit and
i have video footage of vanessa holding her stomach with a small
bump!and video footage of johhny up real close too! i wonder if its
gonna be a boy or a girl! bless! johnny said “I am very happy my
fans were there through the rain and cold weather all day, they are
very sweet” something around those lines neways and when asked in an
interview what he thought of the film he replied “very good…? i’ve
never been great at that salesman thing before.” bless him so. neway
i will definately post a more detailed description soon wen i get
those much deserved photos i am waiting for!

Ok, this might not be particularly coherent, as I am still shaking, but here goes.

Lizabel, Anna, Nichola & myself met up at lunchtime at The Odeon. After a long lunch spent talking non stop about Johnny (what else?!), and eating very little, we went back to the Odeon to meet up with some other zoners. After being moved around a bit by securty staff, we managed to get to the front of the barriers outside the Odeon, just as the heavens opened and we all got soaking wet! Eventually the rain stopped, before anyone arrived thankfully, so we were all able to get our cameras ready. We saw a few stars arrive – Mackenzie Crook, Christopher Lee, Kelly McDonald, Freddie Highmore, and I’m sure some more I’ve forgotten! Unfortunately, as we suspected, Johnny didn’t arrive until after we had to be seated as we had tickets to see the movie. We waited as long as we could, but had to admit defeat and went inside to our seats. Inside the cinema they were showing footage of the stars arriving & a tv presenter interviewing various stars. Johnny must have arrived just as we got inside as they were showing footage of him signing autographs a short while after we got to our seats. We could see where abouts in the crowd he was, and as our bad luck would have it, he was signing some autographs right where we had been standing!! But we didn’t want to risk not getting to see the movie or the presentation so we had to leave when we did.

I’ve just got back home from the premiere. It was an incredible experience. Just seeing the Odeon surrounded by railings, with the cameras and crowds there and the helicopter filming it, was wonderful. Walking on the red carpet and into the building, knowing he would be following, was just incredible! I was up in the circle watching Johnny on the screen signing autographs outside! An exquisite form of torture but I was excited anyway. He went on for ages, it seemed. Then we watched him on the screen being interviewed inside the building, only yards away!Then finally it finished and the curtains closed. We waited for another age and suddenly I noticed Vanessa come in. She was a couple of feet away from AnaMaria and eventually sat down directly in front of me about 10 rows away. She looked stunning. Feminine and elegant – and petite, of course. I don’t think the pictures do her justice at all. When Johnny came on stage, it was just the best, the best. I didn’t get close to him. I went inside before he arrived to work the crowd so I didn’t get close, but I was still pretty ecstatic. Actually, I was very emotional. What an evening. The film was wonderful. I won’t go on about that now – it’s time for me to get to bed! But at the end of the film, we were approached by someone and asked if we would be interviewed so that our comments about the film could be used for radio adverts to promote the film next week!
