Death or nappies: this was the choice facing Johnny Depp. He could emulate his idol, James Dean, and smash himself up in a car, or ape his contemporary, River Phoenix, dead from a drug overdose outside Depp’s nightclub. Yet either fate would have been too cliched for someone unwilling to run with the pack. More daring, surely, to be a rebel with a cause: settle down, potter about the garden, change the kids’ nappies. [more…]

Johnny Depp Defends Kate Moss

General by Martina

LONDON, United Kingdom (AP) — The british press released photos of Kate Moss allegedly snorting cocaine earlier this year. Johnny spoke to a British morning TV show last Friday about the photos and the supermodel whom he had dated from 1994 until 1998.

“The first thing that went through my mind was I was concerned for her, hoping that she was OK and that she and her baby were OK,” said Depp.

“No. 2 was just being appalled and shocked at the kind of vicious attacks.”

“She’s super sharp, really smart and (has) got a great heart. She’s a good mum, and she just happens to be human, and the press wouldn’t allow that, and that’s unforgivable.”
