An Admirers' Site Dedicated to Johnny Depp and His Work
Johnny sprung into action when six extras were
endangered by an out of control car during
filming. A stunt driver in a 1933 Ford car hit
a patch of ice and skidded towards 6 extras with
their backs turned unaware of the danger.
An eyewitness told a British newspaper that,
“Johnny slammed into the group with his arms out
shoving the group back.”

Seems that everyone wants to get their hands on
a copy of the book Public Enemies written in 2004
by Bryan Burrough on which Depp’s film is based.
Bookstores are coming up empty handed. Seems Depp’s
appearance in Crown Point recently increased interest
in the book. Since the book is 4 years old not many
bookstore chains have very many copies, but they are
doing their best to fill orders.
The book titled Public Enemies: America’s Greatest
Crime Wave and Birth of the FBI, 1933-34 is a
nonfiction 592 page volume. It covers the two year
battle between the FBI and Gangsters like Dillinger.

Oshkosh Filming has started today, but the streets of Oshkosh are still being transformed in preparation for filming to start in other areas of town.
Here are some photos of the work going on.
Billy Crudup joined the cast of Public Enemies
he will play FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.
Also on board are Stephen Lang as Winstead, the
Texas Rangers leader who joined the manhunt for
Dillinger and his gang.

on the North Side near Newport and Clark.
Billboards were changed and antique cars were
in place.

Item Numbers to the Next Level. If things go
as planned Johnny may perform an item number
for Mira Nair’s Shantaram.
We asked the Film’s Director, Vishal Bhardwaj,
he exclaimed, “I pray and hope! Doing an
item number for Johnny Depp will be a pleasure!”
The music has been decided even though the
film is not yet completed entirely.
“We will have two Sufi songs and one item number
in Shantaram,” Bhardwaj said.

John Dillinger’s Bank Robbery in Racine will be in
the new movie but the filming will not take place
in Racine it will take place in Milwaukee. Location and Date have not yet been confirmed.
The Milwaukee County Historical Center did confirm that a bank scene will be shot there, but they are unsure if it is the Racine scene.
