One lucky Wisconsin sixth-grader got a
surprise while Johnny Depp was filming
in Beaver Dam area. She not only got to
meet Tom Kennedy the Mayor but Depp as well.
Emily Valle was the lucky one picked
out of a handful of students to meet
Depp as the mayor thought the whole group
would be turned away he picked one lucky
child to go with him on the way to visit the
movie set in Beaver Dam.
Emily said she told Depp he was a good actor
and thanked him for meeting her in which Depp
replied “It’s a Pleasure” to her. Emily
spent two hours at the Rogers Hotel during
filming and took home Depp’s autograph.

Vanessa Paradis is to become the new face

A preview:
About 1,000 people gathered to get a glimpse
of Johnny at Beaver Dam, at around 4pm Johnny’s
SUV pulled up to the Rogers as he emerged
he waved to the crowd and was escorted inside.
After a day of shooting at Beaver Dam that
ended about 5:30pm the crew returned to
downtown Columbus area and arrived a little
after 8:30pm this would be the last day of
filming.
Columbus residents are pleased with the
effect Hollywood had on the town as it
has brought a morale boost as well as
new friendships formed among residents.

Only about 40 people showed up to watch
a bordello scene at 314 S. Charles St.
on Monday. So those waiting had a better
chance to see Depp as he waves to them
from his SUV.
Film Crews will be in Beaver Dam today
and return to Columbus tonight. Filming in
Wisconsin will likely wrap up this week
then head to Chicago to shoot through the
end of June. Directors also plan to shoot
part of ?Public Enemies? in downtown
Milwaukee.
Yes the filming schedule has changed yet
again on us we are trying to keep up with
the schedule but it seems impossible at this
point. As soon as we get confirmed news reports
they will be posted. At times we get conflicting
news reports as far as dates and times go so
please bear with us. The filming schedule has
been kept under wraps but we will post as soon
as news is confirmed.

Filming will be done Monday and Tuesday in
two Wisconsin cities. Shooting is scheduled for a
Columbus home on Monday and then at the Roger’s
Hotel in Beaver Dam on Tuesday WISC-TV is reporting.
More filming will be done in Columbus on Tuesday
afternoon as well.

Johnny will be visiting Ireland in mid June to
meet with writer JP Donleavy about bringing
his book The Ginger Man to the Big Screen.
Depp has been slotted to play the lead as
Sebastian Dangerfield in JP’s depraved
literary classic. This information is not yet
confirmed.
