On the silver screen, she is known to fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean films as the ‘nigh uncatchable’ ship thanks to her imperious speed under full sail.
But away from the bright lights of Hollywood, the vessel that portrays the Black Pearl in the multibillion-dollar franchise has revealed a cunning secret behind her superiority on the high seas.
The Sunset, as she is less commonly known, isn’t actually a proper sailing vessel, but a propeller-driven boat clad in a tall ship set.

Being released as Rotenier’s 2012 holiday collection, the men’s line consists of several pieces that incorporate iconic elements inspired by the characters and story of the Lone Ranger, a masked ex-Texas Ranger who fights injustice in the old American West alongside his Native American partner, Tonto.
