Johnny’s ‘Modi’ Secures North American Distribution
**Exciting News**: We’re thrilled to share that Johnny’s latest film, *Modi*, has been acquired for North American distribution. This captivating story follows the life of the renowned Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, portrayed by Riccardo Scamarcio.
The film brings together an impressive cast, including the legendary Al Pacino, who previously teamed up with Johnny in *Donny Brasco*, as well as Antonia Desplat, Bruno Gouery, Ryan McParland, and Stephen Graham.
Having already wowed audiences at the San Sebastian and Rome Film Festivals, *Modi* is set for a limited domestic theatrical release starting November 7, 2025.
This film, based on a play by Dennis McIntyre, depicts three chaotic days in Modigliani’s life as he navigates the tumultuous streets of World War I Paris, attempting to overcome the challenges posed by critics, police, and personal relationships in his quest to find a home for his art.
Produced by Johnny alongside noteworthy filmmakers, the production team also includes seasoned professionals in the industry, ensuring a high-quality film experience.
Johnny expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m delighted to share this epic story with American audiences. Bringing *Modi* to life, alongside an extraordinary cast and crew, has been the greatest honor.” His enthusiasm for this project promises a captivating viewing experience.

Johnny, the iconic actor known for his remarkable film roles, was spotted sitting front row to enjoy the designer’s Summer 2026 Ready-to-Wear Collection at The Centre Pompidou in Paris.
The event attracted many other celebrities, including the mother-daughter duo Robin Wright and Dylan Penn, as well as Paris Jackson, Jenna Coleman, and Woody Harrelson.
Cara Delevingne was seen sporting a “Come Together” t-shirt, a nod to the famous song by Stella’s dad, Paul McCartney. Helen Mirren even kicked off the show by reading the song’s lyrics, adding a fun touch to the runway event!
