What do Apple Martin, Kaia Gerber and Lily-Rose Depp have in common? They’re a select few celeb kids who are quickly making names for themselves in Hollywood — proving talent indeed runs in the family.
Their parents might not be totally into the idea of them following fame, but that won’t stop these kids from channeling their high-profile Moms and Dads.

Another Johnson is ready to build her legacy in the WWE. In Feb. 2020, the company announced that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s 18-year-old daughter Simone has officially signed with WWE and kicked off her training at its Performance Center in Florida — making her the first fourth-generation Superstar in WWE history.
“It means the world to me,” Simone said in a statement released by the WWE. “To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle but to carry on that legacy.”
Simone was born into a family of WWE legends. Not only was her father a 10-time world champion, but her grandfather, Rocky Johnson, and her great-grandfather, “High Chief” Peter Maivia, were both inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Heeeeey, little Miss Carter! Beyoncé and JAY-Z‘s eight-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, was practically destined to follow in her parents’ footsteps. A source told PEOPLE, “Blue loves singing, dancing and performing. She is a natural.”
Most recently, Bey’s firstborn is dabbling in singing and songwriting. You can catch her showing off her vocals on “Brown Skin Girl,” a track off of her mom’s latest album, The Lion King: The Gift. Blue even received a writing credit for the tune. She also appeared in the video for her mom’s song “Spirit,” proving that she’s certainly not camera shy.
And who could ever forget “Blue’s Freestyle,” which was included on her dad’s 4:44 album? In it, Blue raps the iconic line, “Never seen a ceiling in my whole life,” which, TBH, should have won a Grammy.
And it’s not just vocal and writing chops that Blue inherited from her famous mom and dad. She’s also got some killer dance moves.
With parents like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, how could 11-year-old Emme Muñiz not be a star on the rise? In case you needed evidence, J. Lo included a clip of her baby girl singing the Alicia Keys ballad, “If I Ain’t Got You,” in her behind-the-scenes tour diary.
She also had Emme join her onstage (in matching red outfits, naturally) in Los Angeles for a powerful duet of her song, “Limitless.” Look at that proud mama!

What’s even more impressive? Emme stole the show at the 2020 Super Bowl when she hit the Miami Hard Rock Stadium stage to perform with her mom. She began her cameo with a rendition of “Let’s Get Loud” alongside some other young performers, before belting out a few lines from Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In the USA.”
“She has that gene, the gene that’s like I’m comfortable up here,” Lopez told host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. “I think she gets amped, like excited, but like a cute excited, like I wish I felt more like her.”
Christina Aguilera shared insights into her 12-year-old son’s abilities while answering fan questions on Twitter in August 2018. “Summer Rain knows any of your ?” a fan asked her, referring to her daughter.
“Summer and I stick to our Disney songs together, BUT, my son Max actually has an incredible voice — he doesn’t showcase it a lot— but I caught him singing Maria the other day, and he was pitch perfect,” Aguilera tweeted.
Despite only being 12 years old at the time, the young singer had no problem taking on Adele’s “When We Were Young” as her dad, Dave Grohl, played back up on acoustic guitar during a benefit concert.
Céline Dion’s eldest son seems to share his mother’s gift for chart-topping. Just one day after dropping two songs on SoundCloud in May 2018, he revealed that his music shot to no. 1 and 2 on the R&B & Soul New & Hot chart overnight. Both songs are covers of The Weekend’s music, and Angélil hasn’t been able to contain his excitement over the positive response. “Speechless…” he captioned a screenshot of his songs at the top of the up-and-coming list, adding “I woke up like dis…#ChartTopper” in another.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen‘s daughter Luna Simone is following in her Grammy-and-Oscar-winning father’s footsteps! In February 2018, the cutie starred in her mom’s Snapchat video, during which the toddler belted out her original lyrics. The apple doesn’t fall far from the (musical) tree with Luna. She grabbed her pint-sized microphone and performed a solo concert in front of her family with Teigen proudly cheering and saying, “Yay!”
Salma Hayek and husband François-Henri Pinault’s daughter is already building her slime empire at school — taking after her business-savvy mogul parents.
“She got into learning how to make slime,” Hayek told PEOPLE. (Yes, the gooey DIY craze made from glue.) “She has a lot of it in the house. She has developed like 40 different recipes for slime and she became very popular in school because it’s not easy to make. Now she’s experimenting with different things and the kids all want to learn and she teaches them, and then they want to buy it from her, she started selling the slime!”

Not only are Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’s two kids — Egypt Daoud, 9, and Genesis Ali, 5 — adorable, but the brothers also take after their parents in the music department. Case in point: Beatz showed off Genesis’ impressive beatboxing skills on Instagram in 2017.
“In the middle of my #NoCommissionShanghai Genesis wanted me to hear his new beat 1234567,” the proud dad wrote in the caption.
Egypt has also refined his musical talent. In December 2016, the aspiring pint-sized musician wrote his first song, “Super-boy” and Beatz was there to share his accomplishment.

The 9 year old also has a co-producer credit on Kendrick Lamar’s Untitled Unmastered project that dropped in 2016.
The daughter of Milla Jovovich and director Paul W.S. Anderson has caught the acting bug. In her movie debut, Ever starred alongside her famous mom in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter — written and directed by her father. “You are all going to flip out on the many layered performance she so naturally plays in this film,” Jovovich gushed on Instagram. “She’s a real talent. And nothing makes me happier in the world than to know that my baby has found her passion in life.”

While Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin‘s kids — Apple and Moses — haven’t caught the acting bug quite yet, it’s become obvious the teens have developed an interest in singing.
The pair joined their dad, frontman for Coldplay, on stage, where Apple covered Ariana Grande‘s “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart” and Moses gave an impressive rendition of Twenty One Pilots’ “House of Gold.”
Most recently, in March 2018, Paltrow shared a sweet clip of Martin showing their daughter how to play the Beatles’ classic “Blackbird” on her guitar.
Lily-Rose, the daughter of actor Johnny Depp, is already adamant about what she wants to pursue as a career. “For me, it’s simple: I like to act,” she told Vanity Fair. “It frees me. I want to make it my craft.”
The teen has already starred in a handful of films, including Yoga Hosers — opposite her famous father and mother, Vanessa Paradis — The Dancer and Planetarium. She is also adding to her résumé with modeling stints, most notably fronting Chanel No. 5’s ad campaign.

When she’s not having us do a double-take — in case you missed it, she’s the spitting image of supermodel mom Cindy Crawford — Kaia is posing for breathtaking magazine spreads (like Vogue! NBD) and scooping up fashion accolades. Oh, and did we mention she’s only 18?

Despite growing up in Hollywood with Sylvester Stallone as her father, Sistine said has no intention of going into her dad’s business. “I’m a horrible actor! I hate seeing myself talk on camera – I look ridiculous,” she’s said. But with model Jennifer Flavin for a mom, the 21-year-old does have an interest in the fashion world. She signed with IMG Models and earned the title of “fresh face to watch” from Vogue.

Charlotte may only be 10 years old, but the daughter of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. is already showing a passion for theater, the Buffy star revealed on Instagram, sharing that the pint-sized powerhouse auditioned for a role in The Lion King, despite Mom and Dad’s reservations.
“We tried to prepare her, that as she is one of the youngest, she would probably only have a small role … but nope … meet baby Simba. Although that said, it was pretty amazing to see her studying her script, using @realfreddieprinze script binder.” Now how can we get tickets?

Willy Wonka could soon be coming back to theaters in a very different form!
An upcoming planned Willy Wonka prequel movie is considering casting a woman as the famous fictional chocolatier, according to a report from The Sun. The role has previously been portrayed onscreen by Gene Wilder in 1971’s Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory and Johnny Depp in 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. (Both movies were based on Roald Dahl’s 1964 children’s novel.)
In 2016, Variety reported that a Willy Wonka reboot was in the works from producer David Heyman, who previously worked on the Harry Potter and Paddington movies.
During an interview with Collider in 2018, Heyman confirmed that the upcoming project would be a prequel, set before the events of Dahl’s book and the two movie adaptions.
PEOPLE is out to Warner Bros., the studio behind the two previous films, for comment.

“We are still trying to figure out how to tell that story, what the story is,” Heyman, 58, said at the time. “It’s a prequel, it’s not a sequel. What makes Willy — when we find him at the chocolate factory doing the golden ticket, where is he before that? What leads him to that place where he’s locked himself away? … It’s how does he get there? So we’re playing around with that.”
Collider also reported that Donald Glover and Ryan Gosling had previously been rumored to be in contention for the role of Willy Wonka in the upcoming movie.

Wilder’s 1971 portrayal of Willy Wonka left the character’s backstory ambiguous, while the 2005 movie starring Depp added in flashbacks to Willy Wonka’s mean dentist father.
“It’s challenging because you don’t have Dahl, you don’t have a Dahl book, and yet you have a Dahl character,” Heyman told Slash Film in 2016. “But I think there’s a lot in his character that suggests who he is and also where he might come from or what his childhood or his middle age might have been like. So we’re exploring that. We’re discussing it. We’re in the very early stages and very excited about what lies ahead.”
