Johnny Depp x Deyrolle
Hollywood icon Johnny Depp has ventured into the art world through a unique collaboration with Deyrolle, a historic Parisian institution famed for its cabinet of curiosities. The result is Paciderm, a limited edition artwork inspired by Johnny’s deep connection to elephants and Deyrolle’s legacy of 19th-century educational artistry.

Like so many before me, I was drawn to the world of Deyrolle, a place that celebrates the mysterious, the beautiful, and the often overlooked wonders of nature. It’s an endless source of inspiration, and I’m infinitely grateful to have had the chance to collaborate with them. It’s an honor—and a little surreal—to be a part of their story, especially with a creature so close to my heart: the elephant.
This collaboration places Johnny among a lineage of artists captivated by Deyrolle’s iconic educational boards from the 19th century. At its core is the Elephant, a majestic creature revered within Deyrolle’s animal bestiary for its symbolic power and its echoes of remarkable historical works. For Johnny, the Elephant holds a special allure, representing both strength and enigma.
Elephants feature heavily in my work. They are remarkable creatures, intelligent and strange, with the kindest eyes that seem to contain something deeper, something mysterious. Although elephants are enormous creatures, their beauty is delicate.
The artwork itself, titled Paciderm, is a striking plotter print finished with screen printing techniques, crafted on premium Waterford NOT 640gsm paper.

Day Drinker filming starting very soon
Filming for Marc Webb’s upcoming movie, ‘Day Drinker,’ is set to kick off in Madrid, Spain, in the first quarter of 2025. Johnny is leading the cast, alongside Penélope Cruz and Madelyn Cline, with Zach Dean writing the script. Lionsgate is backing the project, which marks a big return for Johnny to major studio films after the whirlwind of the past few years.
The story follows a bartender on a cruise ship who meets a mysterious day drinker. Their encounter drags them into the dangerous depths of the criminal underworld, uncovering some wild, unexpected connections along the way.
Adam Fogelson, the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair, is genuinely excited about this one. He’s confident that the combo of Marc Webb’s vision, Johnny’s talent, and Penélope’s energy will result in something truly special.
