The actor touched down in Italy for a screening of his new directorial effort, ‘Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness,’ at the Rome Film Festival.

Johnny Depp will be honored at the 2024 Rome Film Festival on Oct 26 where he will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to cinema.
He will also present his second work as a director “Modi, Three Days On The Wing of Madness”

Johnny Depp will be at the 72nd San Sebastian film festival on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, for the World Premiere of Modi.
Johnny will present his second movie as a director, Modi, Three Days on the Wing of Madness, out of competition, accompanied by the film cast (Riccardo Scamarcio, Antonia Desplat, Bruno Goeury, Luisa Raineri and Ryan McParland).
Even though Disney seems to have forgotten about the phenomenal character Jack Sparrow that Johnny created, we fans have not. Shane Blair created this wonderful song Scallywag Hero as a tribute.

We are thrilled to announce that ‘Modi – Three Days on the Wing of Madness’ will receive its World Premiere at the 72nd San Sebastián International Film Festival in September 2024.
Forbes confirms, Johnny Depp is teaming up with Terry Gilliam once again for a new comedy film titled “The Carnival at the End of Days“, which also stars Jeff Bridges, Adam Driver, and Jason Momoa. In an interview with the French publication Premiere, Gilliam, who previously worked with Depp on Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, revealed that the film will feature Bridges as God and Depp as Satan in a role-reversal scenario.
According to Gilliam, in the film, God decides to destroy humanity, and the only one trying to save us is Satan because he needs people in hell to have a job for eternity. The director, who was a member of Monty Python, is aiming to start production in January 2025.
While Gilliam did not disclose the roles of Adam Driver and Jason Momoa, he shared more details about Bridges’ character. In The Carnival at the End of Days, God is portrayed as nature that can communicate with humans. Bridges mentioned that animation will be used to bring this nature to life, as there are scenes with at least 15 animals that need to be realistic, making it a complex and costly endeavor.
Well, this sounds absolutely like a Dream Cast, not only Johnny, but also such amazing costars.

So happy to announce that Johnny Depp will play Torrhen Stark in the new Game of Thrones Series about Aegon Targaryen the conquerer. Torrhen Stark, known as the King Who Knelt, was a head of House Stark who reigned as King in the North until Aegon I Targaryen invaded Westeros with his dragons. He was named Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North after submitting to Aegon during the Conquest.
They already did some first shootings and it seems they even gave him one of those direwolves.
IN.2 finally announced the release date for the movie Jeanne duBarry featuring Johnny Depp as Louis XV in the United States.
