Petition for the Libertine release in US

Uncategorized by Martina

After the release of Johnny’s latest movie the Libertine has been stopped suddenly by The Weinstein Company some fans (started on the JDZ) started an online petition to release the movie, please help the US fans and at the end everyone involved in the Libertine by undersigning the petition.

Click here to undersign the petition

Here’s the petition message:

To: Harvey Weinstein and The Weinstein Company

This petition is in regard to the erratic and unprofessional United States release of The Libertine.

By signing this petition, Johnny Depp fans worldwide are requesting that The Weinstein Company stop advertising dates of release and then pulling them. We are disgusted, disappointed and angry at the way this movie has been handled. You have insulted Johnny Depp and his fellow crew members that worked so hard in making this film.

We feel your business decisions used in the management of The Libertine, not unlike your other distributions of previous Johnny Depp films; show an appalling lack of respect for him and his exemplary talent.

Please do your duty as a movie distributor, fulfill your obligations to us and all concerned and release the Libertine in the United States NOW.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
