Red Cross Partners With Dark Shadows
The American Red Cross is partnering with Warner Brothers on the release of Dark Shadows starring Johnny Depp to raise awareness about the ongoing need for blood donation and to reward our donors with a once in a lifetime movie premiere experience!
All presenting blood donors at participating Red Cross blood drives from April 16th through May 8th, 2012, can register to win a private hometown screening of Dark Shadows for up to 50 friends. Blood donors will also have the chance to win other Dark Shadows merchandise including theater passes and more!

Paul McCartney’s ‘My Valentine’ Featuring Natalie Portman and Johnny Depp
Paul McCartney is fast approaching the ripe age of 70, but the former Beatle and British knight is showing no signs of slowing down. Late Friday night in Los Angeles, McCartney premiered the video for “My Valentine,” featuring some unknown extras by the name of Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman.

Johnny Depp and Friends create a night of music at the El Rey Theatre
Johnny Depp and Bill Carter were onstage at the historic El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. Along with fellow friends and musicians Bruce Witkin and Joey Malone the group entertained the audience with original tunes. Bill Carter’s vocals and incredible song writing skills combined with the seasoned talent of Joey and Bruce on guitar delivered a cool, funky, enjoyable vibe. Johnny once again on snare drum and cymbal.

In other news, “Dark Shadows” won the award for the Best Production to Work On, given by the The Film Artistes Association. You can read more about it HERE
Also, thanks to Dark Shadows News, we learned that Warner Bros will be promoting Dark Shadows at the trade event CinemaCon, which takes place on April 24 in Las Vegas. The presentation is expected to include sneak peek footage from the movie with personnel from the film in attendance.

Johnny’s condition to appear in the movie “21 Jump Street”
Johnny Depp, who started his career on the 1980s TV show “21 Jump Street,” was happy to return to his “Jump Street” roots for a cameo in the Sony movie — but only if his television castmate came along.
So not only does Depp have a cameo, but Peter DeLuise, who played Officer Doug Penhall on the Fox TV show, also appears.
