Johnny Wins the Kid’s Choice Favorite Movie Actor Award. Johnny is working on his new film and could not attend though we know he wanted to because this is his favorite award and the Kid’s mean alot to him.

Johnny didn’t receive the little golden man, but he has a golden heart! Even from the crowd’s reaction in the Kodak, it was obvious that a huge disappointment was felt, but Johnny was gracious and nonchalant sitting in his seat with a satisfied look on his face like always. He was relaxed and chewing his gum.

“Blades of Glory,” “Sweeney Todd” and “The Golden Compass” won the 10th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards in a feature film Tuesday evening.
Colleen Atwood won the Costume Designers Guild prize for excellence in period film for the dark musical “Sweeney Todd”, Atwood is also nominated for an Academy Award.
The 34th Annual Saturn Awards show will take place on Tuesday, June 24, in Universal City, California.

It has been announced that there will be a public open casting call for the film on Sunday Feb. 16th 2008 at Monona Terrace in Madison Wisconsin. Here are the particulars:
men no taller than 6’1″, women should be no taller than 5’8″, and no larger than a size 12. We are also looking for children of all ages.”
Hopefuls attending the casting call are also recommended to arrive dressed in specific outfits, detailed in the announcement:
Men: Dark to medium suit, tie, and an overcoat (not brown) and dress shoes. As this is a period piece, it is very important that your hair be kept long; therefore do not cut your hair. If you have long hair, pull back in a ponytail.
Women: Dark to medium dress and skirt and sweater, overcoat and pumps (med heel). Set hair in curlers the night before and arrive with hair brushed out.
Applicants are also requested to bring a recent color photo and a pen to fill out a registration form.
