If you would have told me years, months, or even days ago that I would someday be hugging Johnny Depp in a 7/11 parking lot across the street from Wrigley Field at five o?clock in the morning?I would have laughed in your face and asked you what drugs you had consumed that day.

But, on April 4, 2008, it happened.

The story is kind of funny, actually. It all started with 21 Jump Street. That?s not the funny part, though. The funny part is that it all ended with 21 Jump Street.

It was another typical Thursday night; hanging out with my friends Sara and Jessica, watching our favorite late 80?s cop drama. We were joking around about all the silly Jump Street questions we?d ask Johnny if we met him. It was always, ?When we meet Johnny Depp ? because it will happen – we?re going to ask him what his favorite episode is.? We thought this was so funny. Funny because we never, ever, in our wildest dreams, ever thought we would actually get to meet him.

Backtrack to when I first discovered that Johnny would be in Chicago filming a movie. March 12, I believe it was. Jessica told me this through instant message.

Filming was last night and tonight at the Aragon. It is rumored from the set that the dance scene was filmed. (Johnny’s dancing?/) Also that Bale finished his scenes. They are supposed to be filming there one more day and then on to Milwaukee. But as the schedule changes so will the updates.

Awhile ago we told you about Johnny enjoying some down time to shop in Wisconsin. David has posted a great little blurb about Johnny on his blog and it is a wonderful read with an awesome photo of the two of them together. David is of course from Madison and Friends and The Denim Lounge on Oak Street. He gives a list of some of the items that Johnny purchased there and tells how he was so nice and took pictures with all of our employees and even signed the door on the way out!

Filming took place at The Portage Theatre in Chicago on Monday and Tuesday nights. Although Johnny was present it seems, He did not come out to meet the fans as he was filming and then went to his hotel. There still is some filming to do apparently at the Biograph but we don’t know when it will exactly be done.

Crews are transforming the street level entrance
of the Aragon in preparation for filming. The
transformation will take place through the end of
the week.

We all know that Dark Shadows is in development at Infinitum-Nihil
and Graham King’s GK Films along with Warner Bros.
It is Based on the 60’s daytime supernatural soap opera.

The new buzz however is that No cast is that Tim Burton is set to direct and John August is set to write the script.this of course is not confirmed in any means but it is still newsworthy as it would be a great project for our duo to embark upon.

Johnny looks wonderful as always and happy to be there!

Johnny just won the best comedy performance award in POTC 3!!
He received a standing ovation and could barely accept this award because of all the screaming of course.

Part of his acceptance speech he said,” I don’t really know how this happened, cause you can ask anyone that knows me and I’m not a very funny person.”

Second award for the night! Best villain in a motion picture!!
he stated, “Two times in one night?that’s nutty. Wow?I have to thank all of you who voted for me. That’s really a great honor, thanks for sticking with me on this very obtuse and strange road ?I’m not particularly eloquent at the moment, but thank you so much.”

POTC3 did not win but Johnny won both of the awards he was personally nominated for!!
Our Congratulations to you Johnny!!

He was wearing of course jeans and a black button down shirt(clear buttons). His captain jack and skull rings on his right hand, his leather cuff watch on his left and nothing on his right wrist. His hair was down in his eyes like always. No glasses and no hat! And he was chewing his gum of course! A NEW TATTOO ON HIS LEFT FOREARM!!three lines of writing.
