The FilmDistrict release features the return of Johnny Depp to the world of Hunter S. Thompson in the adaptation that has him playing New York journalist Paul Kemp, who travels down to San Juan, Puerto Rico to work at the local paper.
Previously, Depp played Thompson in Terry Gilliam’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and was the narrator for Alex Gibney’s doc Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.
Also starring Amber Heard, Aaron Eckhart, Giovani Ribisi and Richard Jenkins and directed by Withnail & I helmer Bruce Robinson, The Rum Diary is scheduled to open on October 28.

Good evening Ginny, I hope that this poster will be unique because you can imagine brands (the non-existent sponsors) hands especially are going to rub themselves if they did not contribute financially to the movie. But it is necessary that the alcohol is advanced on the index card (form) because all the associations against the alcohol be going to turn around against the movie while I think that this movie deserves to be looked. A person remains UNIQUE when she is not flooded in the alcohol because she would lose all her means, that would be it’s a pity, you do not believe? (Smile) Go!!! Maximum 3 glasses because after the behavior is not pleasant any more.
They are can be invented labels of alcohol but all the same, we could believe that it is an advertising poster. Then not this one. A+

Hello Ginny, It is true that it is different but if you put yourself in the place (square) of the persons who did not hear about this movie, these persons can think by considering fast made this poster that it is an advertising poster by blowing the merits of small bottles of rum. I prefer to speak about it before in you see that it made any history(story) when they saw a cigar in the mouth of a lizard in Rango, an association in United States made a fuss about it. Kept silent will say to me, I laugh at it! I shall visit this movie “The Rum Diary” by hoping not to see a pejorative association beginning forbidding us to see this movie in front of a cinema.
