For the downloads, we use WordPress Download Manger. This is the right place for videoclips, trailers, but also audio clips.

1. first of all upload the file. You can do this either by ftp (gallery folder -> dlm), File Manger (dlm folder) or under Downloads -> Assets Manager. Please chose the right year for uploading and give the file a name that shows what it’s about. Like 2003-oscars-red-carpet-interview
2. go to Downloads -> Add New
3. Add the Title and the description
4. On the right click the “select from server” button and chose the file you just uploaded
5. on the right, chose the right category and upload a proper featured  image.  
6. you can add the filesize/package size under Package Settings. Leave the rest empty.
7. if you want it published on social media, make sure, the checkbox of FS Poster is green.
8. now you can publish the file. If it is from an appearance, you can set the publish date to the date it happened.

2. Add the info to the content section. Sometimes you’re in a rush, so it’s also totally fine if you embed a Twitter post (for this, you can go to the twitter post and on the three dots on the top right of it click embed).

3. On the right side, chose one or more fitting categories.  Articles and Interviews should be only for 1:1 articles and interviews. You can also set the date back to the date of the original article (like if you find it in a magazine from July 1989, just use 30.07.1989).
4. If possible, please please add a featured image. For this, click Featured image on the right and upload a picture as big as possible.
5. You can make WordPress share the post automatically to our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram Accounts. For this, make sure the option is checked green on the FS Poster Box.
6. If you think, everything is perfect, you can publish.

When you logged in into the WordPress Admin Panel, you can see different sections in the left side navigation where I’ll guide you through what we use them for.

1. Dashboard / Home
   It’s relatively useless, but you have a little overview here, including the link to the instructions.
2. Posts
   a very important section if not the most important. We add News posts here and articles (everything that has a date)
3. Affiliates
   we have some befriended sites that are linked here. It won’t be that important for you
4. Galleries
   here we add pics, like recent pics, appearances, photosessions, moviepics, screencaps and also fanart, sorted hierarchical.
   The same structure is as folders on the server. You can later read more about that in the galleries instructions
   
5. File Manager
   it shows the gallery folder on our server. You can sort in the latest pics, combined with the galleries section, but also video clips (and audio files) into the dlm folder. Please take care that the folder structure stays intact. You will see the same if you have FTP access.
6. Media
   if you include pictures in a page or post directly, you will find them here. They should not be used for galleries.
7. Pages
   One more very important section. Our info pages are here. For better overview about the structure use the Tree View Option.
