Johnny, Corpse Bride & Charlie Nods from Kid’s Choice Awards
Yahoo News – by Gina Serpe – It’s almost that time again for the Nickelodeon’s 19th annual celebration Kids’ Choice Awards — yup that green-slimin’ ceremony will be held Apr. 1–no foolin’–at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
This year’s emcee will be none other than our favorite shark Lenny from Shark Tale and King Kong Star Jack Black. “I’m super excited to be hosting Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards because when you’re doing a show for the kids, you can get extra crazy and loony,” Black said. “I have a lot of secret plans for when I host the awards, but I can tell you I’m going to bring the super-duper, freaky-deaky, ultra-clowny super dance! But that’s all I’ll say.”
Kids will be able to vote in a total of 16 categories, with surprise awards also announced during the show. Voting begins at nick.com on Mar. 6.
In the Favorite Movie Category:
The nominees are: Are We There Yet? Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Herbie: Fully Loaded.
Favorite Movie Actor:

section. We added mags until back to 1990, some rare treasures, only mags
from the recent months are not yet there (please send them in if you

Disney Goes to the Superbowl
When the Super Bowl happens this Sunday, a great many of you will be paying more attention to the commercials than the game of football – by Joshua Tyler.
If you’re a movie lover, that idea is probably doubly good, since Disney is debuting a new trailer for their most eagerly anticipated movie Pirates of the Caribean: Dead Man’s Chest.

Yo ho, yo ho — ride to lie low
Johnny Depp is coming to Walt Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean — or at least his likeness is coming – by Scott Powers of the Orlando Sentinel
Disney will make changes this spring in the mainstay Pirates ride at both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland — adding characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and updating some of the special effects.
To do so, Disney will close both rides in early March for four months. The attractions will reopen just in time for the release of the sequel movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, in late June in California and July 7 at Walt Disney World.
The movie character Capt. Jack Sparrow, portrayed by Depp, will be mixed in with the 120 robotic performers in the ride. Barbossa, Sparrow’s nemesis in the first movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, also will appear. So will a ghostly figure from the new movie, Davy Jones.
Johnny Depp 4th on list of 100 Sexiest Men in the World
TheAge.com – In a poll of more than 10,000 women to find the world’s sexiest man, screen stars scooped the top five positions – with Brad Pitt at the helm.
Jake Gyllenhaal, 25, star of gay cowboy movie Brokeback Mountain, is second.
Lord of the Rings and Kingdom of Heaven star Orlando Bloom, 29, is the highest-ranking British actor, in third place.
Johnny Depp is fourth in the list of the 100 Sexiest Men in the World, followed by British star Clive Owen.

Oscars: Johnny not nominated!
We are so sorry to tell that Johnny was not nominated for an Academy Award this year. The nomnations for best actor went to Philip Seymour Hoffman, Terrence Howard, Heath Ledger, Joaquin Phoenix and David Strathairn.
But Tim Burton’s Corspe Bride was nominated for best animated feature, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory got a nomination for best costume design – so lets hope for Tim Burton and everyone involved into Corpse Bride and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!
