Johnny joined Alice Cooper onstage yesterday in Los Angeles at the Orpheum. Have a look at Alice Cooper’s website for photos.
Glen Sobel, Alice Cooper’s drummer, wrote on his facebook: “Los Angeles show rocked. Johnny Depp joined us once again on gtr, playing 8 tunes w/ us! We rehearsed w/ him last night and he was totally prepared. “

West of Memphis: Voices for Justice is music from and inspired by West of Memphis, the documentary film written and directed by Academy Award nominated filmmaker, Amy Berg and produced by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh (the Lord of the Rings triology), Damien Echols and Lorri Davis. West of Memphis tells the untold story behind an extraordinary and desperate fight to bring the truth to light; a fight to stop the State of Arkansas from killing an innocent man.
Artists such as Lucinda Williams, Band of Horses, Patti Smith, Citizen Cope, Tonto’s Giant Nuts featuring Johnny Depp and others each have particular stories behind the songs that represent them on this collection.
Your purchase of this album will in part directly benefit the West Memphis 3.

I absolutely love the “Pirates of Caribbean” film franchise, which is why I’m super excited to experience The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow attraction, which will grand open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on December 6.
The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow is a walk-through attraction that will allow guests to follow in the footsteps of Jack Sparrow to see if they have what it takes to join his rowdy and daring pirate crew.

The jokes can get pretty random on Family Guy (see: any episode), but this week there will be some high-powered star wattage powering one such gag: Johnny Depp. The film star makes his debut on the animated comedy by voicing one of his most memorable and sharpest characters from the big screen, Edward Scissorhands.

Although Halloween has just passed, it is never too early to prepare for next year! Here is a tutorial video by a group called ‘The Creative Stroke’.

The legendary Austin musician Bill Carter is back with new material — and he’s ready for you to listen.
The Texas singer-songwriter — whose resume includes time writing for Stevie Ray Vaughn and a spell in P, the band he shared with Johnny Depp and Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers — has a new single “Anything Made of Paper,” which you can hear exclusively here.
