The Weinstein Co. has released the theatrical trailer for The Libertine starring Johnny Depp. This version is very similar to the teaser trailer released earlier, however, some feel this version is ‘fleshed out’ more. Each version is available via this link so why not watch them both?
Digital Spy.com revealed Friday the film title to the second sequel to Pirates of the Caribbean blockbuster which reunites stars Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley with more swashbuckling high-sea adventures. Men’s Flair – Article sent in to JDOrg by Bilal Babic. Thanks for the great article! – Johnny fans have long known that the one we call the “greatest actor of our generation” has always had his own great sense of personal style. This article confirms what we have known for years. Here’s a short excerpt from Johnny Depp Style: Puttin’ On the Ritz
According to Maria Divaris, fashion editor of Marie Claire magazine, “It’s one of the things that kind of makes him sexy. He’s going to wear what he wants to wear, he’s going to cut or not cut his hair, shave or not shave when he sees fit, and he’s going to chose the movie roles he believes in.”

ComingSoon – Source: Variety December 1, 2005 – Peter Weir will direct Shantaram, the Warner Bros. adaptation of the Gregory David Roberts novel that will star Johnny Depp. Variety says Weir will develop the script with Eric Roth. The studio hopes to begin production late next year.
The film is being produced by Initial Entertainment Group’s Graham King along with Depp’s Infinitum Nihil and Plan B’s Brad Pitt.
The Libertine – Directed by Laurence Dunmore – Every American leading man with a smidgeon of intellectual pretension would love to be compared to Marlon Brando, but only Johnny Depp really earns the comparison. NY Press – By Matt Zoller Seitz.
You could see Brando’s characters working things out, sorting through their emotions and their place in the world, figuring out where they were in the narrative of their lives. Listen to how Brando’s Don Vito Corleone says, “I like to drink wine more than I used to,” as if touching the realization that he’ll grasp with his next line: “Anyway, I’m drinkin’ more.” Brando caught characters in the act of becoming, and fixed the moment in a look or a gesture. He turned psychology into poetry. And no matter how high his star had risen or how low it had sunk, he always seemed as if he were having fun (even if you weren’t). By treating every performance as an experiment while still conveying a sense of fun, Brando grasped multiple meanings in the line, “The play’s the thing.”
Depp shares all these qualities, along with Brando’s glimmers of cynicism and cruelty and hints of decadent boredom. Despite Depp’s pay increase after Pirates of the Caribbean, he still seems an outlaw in the Brando sense – an actor who consistently pushes against audience expectations and who treats each part as a puzzle, a game and a chance to see what he can get away with.
Twitch – Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat was impressed with his “Pirates of the Caribbean” co-star Johnny Depp and wants more opportunities to work with him, a report said Friday. “I only had one scene with Johnny Depp, but he strikes me as a very good actor,” Chow was quoted as saying by the South China Morning Post. Chow plays a notorious Chinese pirate, Captain Sao Feng, opposite Depp in the third installment of the Disney series. “If they make more sequels and invite me to be in them too, I definitely want more scenes with him,” the newspaper quoted Chow as saying.
I am just changing the script with which you are able to chose the
different layouts for jdorg.
So on some sites there is the old one and on some there is the new one
– maybe you have to change it more often than only one time because of
that.

A National Trust conservationist was on hand to offer advice during the filming of Johnny Depp’s raunchy love scenes on the set of his new film – By Graham Spicer.
She wasn’t there to tell Johnny where to put his hat, however, but was instead advising the film crew on conservation issues on location at Montacute House in Somerset, a trust property.
“I was one of only a small number of people on set for the love scenes – an unusual environment to be giving conservation advice!” said Sharon Masters, Acting House Steward at Montacute House.
A 16th century bed in the house’s crimson bedroom was used in some particularly steamy scenes and Sharon had to make sure that the romps caused no damage to the valuable antique.
“Montacute House is a favoured location for many film producers,” said Sharon. “It was a fascinating insight to see a glimpse of the house as it may have looked and been lived in during the period,” she added. “The project involved months of preparation and two weeks of filming over two floors and using ten rooms within the house.”
