Johnny will be visiting Ireland in mid June to
meet with writer JP Donleavy about bringing
his book The Ginger Man to the Big Screen.
Depp has been slotted to play the lead as
Sebastian Dangerfield in JP’s depraved
literary classic. This information is not yet
confirmed.

wait to hear about when filming will continue
he was well aware in late April that he would
not know when he would be called upon to appear
in the movie he knows he could be called upon
the day of filming even. Filming is set to
resume shooting in Columbus on Monday and in
Beaver Dam and Columbus on Tuesday.
As of right now though the schedule has
changed many times and filming was delayed
twice last month so it is hard to say for sure
about where and when filming will be confirmed to
continue. As soon as we have confirmed news reports
about filming we will post it.

Filming began Monday outside the capitol
building as Madison residents got a glimpse
of Hollywood.
Some filming took place inside the Capitol
on Friday but it was a closed set and not
open to the public. Filming will move out of
Madison after Monday’s shoot. Depp was not
on set but Bale shot several scenes.

Filming is tentatively scheduled to return to Columbus
and Beaver Dam on Wednesday. Crews will be at The Rogers on Wednesday Morning and then back on James Street in Columbus during the afternoon.
Adam Boor location scout also said they are scheduled
to be back in Chicago by next week. The exact schedule
has not been set yet.

Filming will not be taking place today in
Columbus or Beaver Dam despite previously
announced reports. There was a scheduling
conflict that caused the postponement
according to location scout Adam Boor. There
is still plans to film in Beaver Dam and
Columbus it will likely take place the week
of May 5th and 6th. Nothing has been confirmed
at this point. They plan to wrap up Wisconsin
filming by May 8th, but that is still
unconfirmed.
News of filming has been scarce the past couple
days and what we have heard has been changed
many times and at this point we will not post
unless we know for sure of when and where filming
will be.

The next couple of weeks crews plan on
shooting scenes in Columbus, Madison
and in Milwaukee. The filming schedule
is changing constantly but will film
in other cities in the state before
finishing in June.

Historical Society has been delayed until
the first weekend in May now. Filming was
expected to be in downtown Milwaukee on
Monday.
