New York, N.Y. – Does anyone love the egomaniacal pirate Capt. Jack Sparrow as much as, well, the egomaniacal pirate Capt. Jack Sparrow? Maybe not. But one person who comes close is Johnny Depp, who’s now played that seafaring scallywag in four Pirates of the Caribbean movies, including On Stranger Tides (out May 20). “I’m never tired of the character,” he says. “I don’t look forward to the day when I have to say goodbye to him.”

Many of you will recall that star Johnny Depp credited Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards for inspiring his character in the original Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and Disney had the guitarist written into the last installment, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’92s End, as Sparrow’92s father: Captain Teague. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is expected to be a stand alone adventure following Jack Sparrow’92s quest for the Fountain of Youth. The latest adventure will somehow result in a family reunion.

Reuters has a write-up of Richards’92 new memoir ’93Life’94 which breaks the news that the musician is set to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow’92s father in the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean. The article confirms that ’93the two are currently shooting the series’92 fourth installment, where Richards reprises his role as Sparrow’92s father.’94 Nothing else is known about Richard’92s appearance. Dressed up in his infamous Captain Jack costume, Depp was ready to set sail on the set of his latest film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strange Tides at the Royal Naval College in Greenwich area of London, England on Wednesday, October 6th, 2010.

Johnny Depp was joined by his double again to film another scene for Pirates of the Caribbean 4 yesterday. While Johnny stood on top of a horse-drawn carriage and concentrated, his double obviously found something amusing and stood with a big grin on his face. Johnny has apparently not been enjoying the food on set, instead ordering noodles to eat on his breaks. Meanwhile police have been employed to help the extras cross a street in Greenwich. His old costar Keira Knightley says she can’t wait to see the new one although she says she’s “on a different path now”.
