Premiere Entertainment was on hand for a screening The Rum Diary. After the film, star Johnny Depp and writer/director Bruce Robinson talked to the LIVE screening audience. This event was broadcast into five NCM theaters across the country.

That was so beautiful at the end where Johnny comforts the adoring shaking student who he promised a few hats and then gave him her address. Her hand was shaking and he gave her a big hug and she was so happy. She seemed to be in shock and I probably would be too if I got a hug like that from Johnny. If I were to die at that moment at least I would have a smile on my face.
