LIDO OF VENICE[/b]
We arrive at the lido in 40 minutes…we were really excited…”maybe Johnny is there in this moment…maybe we’re breathing his same air…” (i know, i’m really crazy, but i’ve always loved him since i was a child and it seemed to me not real to be there…)
Lots of important people in the world of cinema was there…People running here and there, lots of “shops”, the air was frenetic, special, MAGIC…
it was in that moment, there, in the crowd, tha i realized i really made it, i was there…
We took the tickets, the weather was really hot…
LOOKING FOR HIM
i still don’t know and still can’t understand how we managed to get in the exact place where Johnny would come just a few minutes before his arrival, but we did…
after we took the tickets, i started speaking with a girl in a shop, and she told me that Johnny was there, or he would come soon…everyone i asked confirmed the same thing…Johnny was here and that was the only thing that really mettered in that moment…
i started running, the whole group of the fanclub behind me, and i still don’t know why but i found the right place…
we waited a bit without knowing where to stand, ’cause there were photographers in every place and people screaming everywhere..
suddenly, we started hearing voices, crying “Johnny!!!” and finally we saw him…he was handsome…I had convinced a photographer to let me stand next to him, in the very first row, together with other men with cameras…
…he got out of the taxi (a ship, ’cause we were in venice)and said hello to us…waving his hand…I didn’t know what to do or what to say, i couldn’t even talk…It was a great, strong emotion!It was the first time i saw Johnny in my life, and he seemed to me completely different…I was surrounded by people screaming, saying his name, and everything…But i could’t move…i was struck there and couldn’t take my eyes off him…He continued smiling, waving at us…I don’t really know how to explain my feelings in that moment…
