Teaming up with guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela, Zimmer sought a more Latin atmosphere for the newest ‘Pirates’ film. “We have Penélope Cruz playing Angelica, who’s Spanish, so I felt that there could be some Latin influences in the score for ‘On Stranger Tides,'” Zimmer said in a release.

Thanks for posting! Definitely buying this album off iTunes on May 17th, I believe? Yeah…Can’t wait for this movie! The album has an Hispanic feel to it and I’m Hispanic, as well, so that makes me feel so happy to hear songs like this, with guitar playing an ethereal Hispanic tune.
