The 42-year-old has played a string of quirky roles, including Peter Pan author J.M.Barrie in Finding Neverland and gothic anti-hero Edward Scissorhands and is currently starring as a creepy incarnation of Willy Wonka in Chocolate Factory. Now Depp, fearing he may be typecast as the token weird guy; says starring in a porn might just save him from a career nosedive. “These kind of characters are not so far from my own personality, but I don’t want to become typecast as an eccentric,” he said.
