For No Good Reason with Johnny Depp Blu-ray Release Date and Details
The Sony Pictures Classics documentary For No Good Reason Blu-ray release date has been announced for September 2. The documentary stars Johnny Depp who guides viewers through the life of Ralph Steadman, the artist behind Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Also playing themselves are Terry Gilliam, Richard Grant, Hunter S. Thompson, Jann Wenner, and Ralph Steadman.
Sony is bringing For No Good Reason to Blu-ray in its original 1.78:1 1080p aspect ration and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features include a short film, interview, featurettes, deleted scenes, and commentary.

Ryan Adams Reveals Album Details, Johnny Depp Plays Guitar on B-Side
Ryan Adams has confirmed that his forthcoming album will be released on September 9 via his own PaxAm Records in conjunction with Columbia. The self-titled LP will feature 11 tracks, including the recently released single “Gimme Something Good.” The album is now available for pre-order.
In related news, the B-side for “Gimme Something Good”—a song called “Aching For More”—includes an appearance by actor Johnny Depp, who plays guitar on the new track.
Johnny Depp’s Whitey Bulger Movie Set for Sept. 18, 2015
Warner Bros. has set a Sept. 18, 2015 release date for its untitled Whitey Bulger biopic starring Johnny Depp.
The movie has been shooting in Boston with Scott Cooper directing a cast that includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Jesse Plemons (“Breaking Bad”), Sienna Miller, Dakota Johnson, Adam Scott and Corey Stoll.
Cumberbatch will portray Billy Bulger, Whitey Bulger’s law-abiding brother and a Massachusetts State Senator. Edgerton is playing disgraced FBI agent John Connolly, who aided Bulger and was sentenced to 40 years in prison despite maintaining his innocence.

Kevin Bacon joins Black Mass
Yesterday, it was announced by a couple of sources that the 55 year old actor, Kevin Bacon, signed up for Black Mass, and will be playing FBI Special agent Charles McGuire.
Apart from Bacon and Johnny HERE is a list of the cast, that includes Sienna Miller, Benedict Cumberbatch, Adam Scott and Dakota Johnson.
Black Mass facing criticism
Black Mass is facing a bit of rejection from the Boston community because they feel the movie might glorify Bulger, the famous convicted murderer and former organized crime figure, who is currently 84 years old.
Perhaps we would be amazed and delighted by the idea of Johnny Depp filming in our neighborhood but according to the Boston Globe, a local newspaper, a few people are quite disturbed because Black Mass is a movie based on Whitey Bulger, a man that is still alive and that damaged lots of families in that community.
“They’re filming this right next to all these people who lost loved ones to Whitey,” said Ivaska, who was born and raised in the neighborhood. “The fact that anyone glorifies anything to do with this guy is disgusting.” The Boston Globe.
However crowds of natives and newcomers are following the film’s staff in order to get a glimpse of the cast, specially of Johnny.
