White Queen in Alice in Wonderland. When asked
if she is excited to work with Depp she says
in quote:
“Uh, yeah, ya think?” Hathaway, 25, told
PEOPLE. “I hope I don’t faint. I’m wearing
a corset which is difficult enough, but then
to have to wear a corset and be short-breathed
around Johnny Depp?” And her friends are
buzzing with excitement at her upcoming
costar. “I have so many people coming out of
the woodwork who really have never wanted
to visit me on the set before just want to
kind of come and hang out,” she says.
“Everyone just wants to meet Johnny. “It might
be my hardest role to date ? to keep my cool.”

With a group of new projects looming in the near future for Johnny, the question is posed to us all. Does Johnny?s choices in roles really matter? Of course those fans and followers of Mr. Depp are well aware that he does not and never will go along with the fandom and main stream choices of today?s Hollywood. Gossip and rumors seem to sprout up everywhere as all the world desires to know, where Johnny is and what is he really working on? As an artist Johnny Depp is a name synonymous with individualism and charisma, but more importantly he is now known as his own man who goes with his own desires and interests. This seems to be the year of Johnny, and will be next year in a matter of fact statement. Whether the fans or critics agree with the choices that Johnny is making, he is blatantly saying to all, ?I?m doing what I like, just like I always have.? He seems to have found a comfortable place to nest with those he is working alongside and the roles that he is portraying. And so does it really matter? The answer to this is an emphatic and resounding NO! For Johnny has used his chameleon to make believers out of the faint hearted long before this and there is nothing that has been put in front of him he cannot do. Never ceasing to surprise and amaze us, he will continue to shock us with his role choices.
I want to thank each and everyone of you all over the world for your wishes and prayers for me while I was recovering in the hospital this past weeks. I am well now much better and taking it easy at home. It was an easy surgery but of course there is a chance for complications….I felt very blessed that I was able to pull through this unscaved.
I did not take off my Johnnys Angels band at all through the whole ordeal and I felt very blessed and close to many of you that sent wishes and messages to me.
My friend Heather and family filled my room with Johnny photos and cheer and it very much helped me recover and regain strength..Johnnys spirit is very strong and blessed.
He is forever my personal Angel and you are all wonderful friends and my Deppfamily…

Congratulations to our dear Johnny for winning the award for BEST ACTOR IN A HORROR MOVIE and for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street which won the award for BEST HORROR MOVIE. Unfortunately, Johnny didn’t attend the show to pick his award. Also Tim Burton received the SCREAM IMMORTAL Award for his remarkably unique interpretation of horror and fantasy.He had a big arrival…and when I say big, I really mean BIG, arriving on stage in a balloon!!

Geoffrey Rush has remained tight lipped about
Pirates of the Caribbean 4 and him stepping
Back into Captain Babossa’s Pirate boots.
While Johnny has confirmed that he will
return as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Rush says in quote:
There remains more to explore in the series.
‘The original title of our script didn’t just
read Pirates Of The Caribbean. It read,
‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The
Black Pearl.
‘We knew then that there would be sequels.
He adds: ‘The writers also knew that the
antagonism between Sparrow and Barbossa
will never end. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

This Saturday Night Tim Burton will be at the Greek
Theatre in Los Angeles to recieve The Immortal Award
at the Scream 2008 Awards Show the Scream people
boldly say that Burton has “contributed more to
the genres of fantasy, sci-fi and horror than any
other filmmaker of his generation,” The show airs on
Oct. 21st on Spike TV.
The Los Angeles Times talked with Tim on the phone
while he was on set of Alice in Wonderland and they
asked Tim about Johnny. How easy was it to persuade
Depp to conjure up yet another enigmatic oddball?
“He loves doing that. That’s never a problem.
He doesn’t like to be the same way twice. That’s
good, it always keeps it fresh and all. And he likes
the material we have here and he gets it. It’s nice
to have people involved that are fans of the
material and all.”
