In an early alert to retailers Sony has made public their plans to bring the 2011 Bruce Robinson directed film “The Rum Diary” starring Johnny Depp and Aaron Eckhart to Blu-ray Disc on February 14th, 2011. For those who don’t know, the film is based on the debut novel by the late writer Hunter S. Thompson. Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have yet to be detailed but stay tuned. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $24.99 price tag.
