Look at this!!! I’m at the moment together with my friend and staff member Rajacero on vacation in Plan de la Tour. We arrived here last Saturday. Today we were walking across the local Place Foch on our way back home from the grocery store. At one side of the place is the local city hall. Around the corner is a display cabinet for public announcements. We’ve been there before a few days ago, but didn’t have a closer look. Today I was munching a croissant and stared absently at this display and couldn’t believe what I saw there. Among others was this marriage announcement. I don’t know if this was only a bureaucratic act or if there was a ceremony. I can only tell that it did not happen at the local church. We’ve been there last weekend and there was no sign of any marriage ceremony. At the moment I’m at the McDonald’s in Sainte Maxime about 10 km from Plan de la Tour. That’s the only free WiFi zone around here. It’s pretty late and they’ll close in a few minutes. I’ll try to find out more tomorrow and will post it as soon as I can.

well, i’d be the happiest for Johnny and his girl, but this smells like April’s fool 😀 nicely done though. very convincing.. hope it becomes real someday 🙂

This is a marriage certificate announcement thing that they do in most cities if you want them to, meaning they already got married on the date shown in the picture 🙂

I kind of find it odd to find out this way which makes me think it is not true. I mean I would think whoever actually put up this posting would have told someone or sold it to the newspapers or something. Every spring the rumors start they are getting married so unless Johnny publicly comes out and admits it I don’t take too much stock in this but if it is true then I wish them both a lifetime of happiness together and if it is not I still wish them the same.
Johnny-Depp.org would never sell news or pics to the press. If we would do this here for the money, JDorg itself would not exist anymore, as we’ve already had some good offers to sell the whole site.

I HOPE it is not to find anywhere else – the the end it was Ina from our site travelling there (as every year) and visiting the beautiful area and finding this publication of marriage. In Europe (at least here in Germany, too) it is usual to hang on the town halls – you cannot decide if you want that or not.

Honestly, I find this hard to believe considering that it is April Fools day and this photo was found in photobucket. Plus, if it was “public announced” wouldn’t it be announced to the public already? Unless, it was posted up today, but it truly can’t take 3-4 days to create one little certificate for one wedding. It would’ve been all over the Internet and so far…there has been nothing on this. Not even one “sneak” article that would then be removed an hour or so later. Nothing at all. Haha! April Fools everyone!

It would be great if they really had done it.I aways tought Vanessa is the perfect woman for Johnny and she has given him happyness, peace, a family, love..I think she deserves to become in his wife.They always say they don’t need a paper, or to tie the knot oficially, so if this is true,I am really impressed how they have changed their minds.
It is also true a few years ago Johnny said ,maybe they would do it when the kids were a bit adult,so they could enjoy the ceremony and party.It is contradictory.

I did a search and found this comment. “assume this is the public announcement document, and if it‚Äôs actually real, they‚Äôre not married yet. This document goes up 10 days before the wedding date so that anyone who objects to the union can do so. If they are marrying, the wedding won‚Äôt happen until next week.” Maybe that’s how they do it in France. In the United States you don’t have to do this.

If this is not true, I don’t find it funny at all. In fact, the person who made it up should be charged with fraud. In my country if you put false information on official stationary you would be standing before a judge. I hope it is true, but if it is not, it is a poor excuse for a joke.
