Johnny won two awards for “Favorite Movie Actor” and for “Favorite Animated Movie Voice”. Congratulations!
According to the TV show last night he wasn’t there nor was there a video message. His and also some other categories weren’t even mentioned.

I’m from Germany, but I chatted with a friend who’s in LA and watched the show. She told me that it was an awful show. Many categories weren’t even mentioned. They filled the two hour show with a lot of meaningless information and behind the scenes footage. I don’t see why they ask people to vote and then don’t even find a proper way to present the winners even if they can not be there to accept the awards. So somehow I’m glad Johnny wasn’t there. His presence would have lifted the show onto a level where it didn’t belong this year.
Really wanted to see him too, but know he must be busy….I am so thrilled he won though. Congratulations Johnny!!! your the best!

Yes, the show was a complete waste of time. I waited all night for two hours hoping to see Johnny win and it would have really made my night to see him there but I guess he couldn’t be there. Someone else won who didn’t do a satellite message either but maybe the show just was not doing them. There was some stupid advertisement for CVS pharmacy that took up time (yeah, I’m sure those women buy their make up and hair stuff at CVS) and this poor group of people sitting in the front row who won just got handed a trophy and weren’t even given the chance to say thank you or anything or have their moment to shine. I was thrilled, however, to finally see that Johnny did win not only for favorite actor but he also won for animated voice in Rango. If I am not mistaken, I think he was the only person to win two awards last night. Congragulations Johnny. I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wrong in saying Johnny was the only person to win two awards. There were others who did. But anyway, the Critics Choice Awards are tonight and Hugo is nominated for 11 awards. Johnny’s production company is one of the producers. Good luck tonight Johnny.
