Johnny in ‘The Master and Margarita’ Film Project
Exciting news for fans! Johnny is set to produce the first English-language feature adaptation of the classic satirical novel, *The Master and Margarita*, written by the esteemed Soviet author Mikhail Bulgakov. This project promises to be a thrilling addition to his impressive repertoire.
At a recent appearance during the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, Johnny shared his enthusiasm for the project. While he won’t be starring in this adaptation, details about the script and director are still pending, keeping us all curious and eager for more information.
Johnny will be producing alongside Stephen Deuters and Stephen Malit under his IN.2 Film banner, alongside a talented team including Svetlana Dali, Grace Loh, Natalia Rogal, and Robert MacLean for Tribune Pictures. It’s a collaborative effort with several executive producers on board, including the late Michael Lang and others from World Visions.
This project reunites Johnny with Dali, who previously collaborated with him on other acclaimed projects. It’s always thrilling to see him team up with people who understand and share his artistic vision.
*The Master and Margarita*, written in the 1930s but published years later, is hailed as one of the great works of 20th-century literature.
