Tara Wood has completed her in-depth, four-part docuseries on the life and work of Tim Burton, the director of “Batman,” ” Beetlejuice,” and “Edward Scissorhands.” The series marks the first time that Burton has supported a project about his career and includes exclusive interviews and unpublished artworks, as well as a never-before-seen stop-motion short film.  The first episode in the docuseries premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival as a sneak peek, earning strong reviews and buzz. WME has come on board to handle global sales.

The docuseries also contains conversations with Burton’s closest collaborators — it’s a group that includes Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, Jenna Ortega, Danny Elfman, Danny DeVito, Christoph Waltz, Christopher Walken, and Mia Wasikowska.  The docuseries also provides in-depth looks at the director’s semi-autobiographical characters and films, and his countless artworks of similar nature.
