Johnny-Depp.org has one huge lack: the articles and interviews section is always empty. And of course we want to serve you always as the first with the latest news.
This where you can help – register at JDorg and become contributor.
You will be added to the credits page (after first post), you create a post in our admin panel and your posts have to be approved by an administrator to show up on the site.
Here a short how to:
– you register (in the side navigation on the very bottom)
– you confirm your registration in the email you get sent
– you log in (in the side navigation on the very bottom) and come to the admin panel automatically
– you click on Posts->Add new
– you chose a short but clear title
– in the huge content field you add your news and customize
– if you need to add one or two little images, you can do so by the icon besides upload/insert, make sure it is your own images, otherwise please just use a link to another site and we’ll later make sure we’re allowed to use them. Insert them with alignleft and as thumbnail!
– if you have a longer text in the news section, please put a short preview into the excerpt.
– chose a category under the parent category news if you have news (Appearances, Awards General, Magazines, Movies, Projects, TV&radio or Votings), interviews or articles reviews, or one of the fan encounter categories. If it is related to any movie, chose the movie category also.
– that’s it, send your post in (for fan encounters or interviews, you may also edit the publish date to a time in the past)
– wait till we approve your post.
