Another little update: Ginny and Brian, along with Silke and myself, are helping with getting some magazine scans into text form. So keep an eye on the articles section, from the last page to the newer entries from year 2005, to read some older articles.

We’re still searching for some contributors. Volunteers, who’d temporary like to help with adding movie info, creating Johnny info pages, writing interview transcripts etc. Maybe as a little holiday job? It is really easy!

I thought, like a person, also a website can have a wishlist, and maybe you would like to fulfill some of our wishes, credits guaranteed.

First of all we need someone as a new main staffer. Someone who has brain enough to add pics as soon as they appear and update pages like the box-office site on his/her own if a new movie was in cinema. If you think, you could do the job, just write me a mail.

There has been a long long wait for this film but it was well worth it. For those of you who have been saddened by the past few movie projects, this is the one we have been waiting for! The Rum Diary is johnny at his best, a mixture of his true rebel self and a piece of Hunter that he carries with him always, fills the screen larger than life!

We’re sorry to hear, that on Sept. 24th the Ferguson’s Cafe in Spokane, WA was in flames, leaving the owners at a total loss. The Cafe was one of the main sets of the film Benny and Joon and resided in the Garland District since the 1940’s.

We’ve now had our Johnny Depp forum convention in Germany at the river Elbe August 26-28. You asked for pics and reports, and I can tell you it was great! On Stranger Tides was this year’s motto, of course, and all the visitors were overwhelmed by our decoration and did not regret to have driven even 1000 kilometers to take part.
