Michael Caine Seems to Confirm Johnny as The Riddler

Uncategorized by Martina

When asked about Johnny and Philip for the
next installment of Batman in an
interview with MTV News conducted
just hours ago at the Toronto Film Festival,
Michael Caine states:

?They?ve already got them in mind,?
said Caine, when asked who he?d like
to see take up arms against the Caped
Crusader. ?It?s Johnny Depp as The Riddler
And The Penguin is Philip Seymour Hoffman.
I read it in the paper.?

?When Christopher Nolan said we were going
to do ?The Dark Knight? next, I didn?t know what
that meant in Batman terms,? related Caine,
who plays Bruce Wayne?s loyal butler, Alfred
Pennyworth. ?I said, ?What?s the story?? and
he said The Joker. I said, ?Oh, s?t! How are
you going to top Jack Nicholson?? He said,
?Well, I?ve cast Heath Ledger. And I went ?Ha!
I couldn?t top Jack, but if anyone could, maybe
Heath could.? And he did.

?I was with a Warner Bros. executive and I said,
?Are we going to make another one?? They said yeah.
I said, ?How the hell are we going to top Heath?
And he says ?I?ll tell you how you top
Heath ? Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip
Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.? I said,
?S?t, they?ve done it again!?? [Laughs]

The night HE came toward me. The night I surprised that old boy from Kentucky

Uncategorized by Martina

I was the shore and reality came like a wave to call HIM back.
Ok, here I am, waiting for HIM to come. The hours pass very slowly. Doesn’t matter. They said HE will be late, HE will arrive at 1.30 in the morning. No matter. Everything was late, today. I am here. I saw HIM in the afternoon, HE was late, I waited. I can wait a little more now. On my left three ladies are talking about this and that in their Venetian accent I don’t understand sometimes. They are waiting too. On my right a young girl from Sicily is waiting with me. We never met before and now we have tons of things to say, because we are talking about HIM. We chose a convenient place and we are determinate to defend it against everyone.

When did it all start? Did it start in December 1997, when I fell in love with don Juan de Marco? Or in 1999, when I met Edelweiss in such a serious occasion as a teachers lecture? Or was it in 2000, when first I came in Venice with her hoping to see HIM and carrying a camera Lilly had lent to me? In 2001, when I came again with Lilly and finally saw HIM, but HE was so far that HE looked like a vision to me? Or it was two months ago, when I found that book on a bookstall near my office and I bought it?

some changes to JDorg

Uncategorized by Martina

I did some changes to Johnny-Depp.org (more friendly URLs and some other things), but the weekend was too short and work starts again tomorrow. So some of the sites here at JDorg do not work as they should (especially the pagination in the goodies and galleries section) for one or two weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Alice in Wonderland to Be Filmed at National Trust House

Uncategorized by Martina

Tim Burton has chose the Antony House in Torpoint,
Cornwall as the outside set of Alice in Wonderland.
Alice in Wonderland will be due for release in 2010
and will be 3D.
The house, garden and woodland of the Antony House
will be closed to the publis from September 1st to
October 14th for filming.
Rebecca Miller, of the National Trust, said:
“We are absolutely over the moon that Antony has
been chosen as a location for Tim Burton’s new film
Alice in Wonderland.

“One of the reasons it was chosen was because it’s
a hidden gem – it’s one of the trust’s lesser known
properties and they felt this fitted in very well
with the feel of the film.”

Over 3,000 people turned out in Plymouth, Devon for
casting calls last month even though there were only
250 places to be filled. Australian newcomer Mia
Wasikowsk will play the part of Alice.

The Awe of Jack New Article Written By Lizzy

Uncategorized by Martina

Please Take Time to Read Lizzy’s Wonderful New article entitled “The Awe of Jack” and Feel Free to Comment I think it is an AWEsome Read!
Here is an excerpt from it:

What is the allure that causes grown adults to don leather and felt costumes like six year olds ready to run out and yell trick or treat? A fanatical group of despots that travel round the country? Whether your opinion of this renewed love for pirating is one of scorn or folly, there is no denying its ever-growing presence, even in our ?Depp? world here. As Johnny has gone on to other roles, Jack still lingers on.

RSS Feed added

Uncategorized by Martina

I got some requests asking, if we have RSS Feed on this site. I myself did not subscribe to any RSS Feeds, so this world is very new to myself.

However, I decided to look into it, and I coded an RSS Feed for our news, updates, encounters, articles and movie reviews section, which you can now subscribe to – to be always on top of things. I hope, it works as it should, otherwise I have to remove it.

Hello! My name is Serena, I am the old webmistress of J-Depp.com, and I am proud to introduce myself over here as I am now part of the staff of this amazing website! After my website had been closed for gallery hacker attacks and other problems, I talked to Martina and we decided to merge the two websites, so that now j-depp.com leads to johnny-depp.org!
Also, this means I will be doing my best to add more content to this website, starting from a huge amount of fan encounters that my site used to have! I have added already more than 110 encounters, with pictures an tales of amazing experiences, so be sure to check that out!
Once again, thanks to Martina and all the staff at JD.org for welcoming me here, and I’m looking forward to being part of the website!
