The third Pirates; At Worlds End DVD was released in the U.S. December 4, 2007. A special two disc set edition was also offered to fans that want to share the behind the scenes secrets of the making of the film. If you are totally into all the Pirates features, you need to try and get ahold of this set. The special features include the great Bloopers: Johnny choking on a glass of drink, Geoffrey Rush losing his hat throughout, Johnny falling off a good 10 foot drop and of course the normal flubs and stutters.
There is also a behind the scenes look at the making of the maelstrom scenes, the sword fights, the digital effects and most of all a special look at Johnny and Keith Richards relationship and great fun they had doing the father and son scene from the film. The features are about two hours long, maybe more and are totally worth the couple extra dollars that you will spend on the two disc set. If you have the ability to watch the movie in blue ray, the special B.R. disc also offers even more features including an interactive ?Liars Dice? game, which includes the great pirates from the film; Marty, Gibbs, Pintel and all the others. This is great, especially for the children, who will sit and have sure fire fun with all their favorite characters challenging them to bet on the dice numbers. As a final release in the trilogy, AWE DVD will not disappoint fans, more in fact Johnny fans as they are able to see more of his filming in this one and share in his history making role.
