More Hollywood heavyweights are joining the call for a lower rating on the teen-focused documentary “Bully.”
The Weinstein Co, which is releasing the film March 30, said Tuesday that Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees have signed on to support the film.
Lee Hirsch’s documentary on bullying in American schools has been rated R, which restricts children under 17 from seeing it without an adult.Distributors appealed the decision, but it was upheld by the MPAA.

Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp have teamed up to cover Carly Simon’s 1972 hit “You’re So Vain,” HuffPost Entertainment exclusively reports.
The controversial singer and eccentric actor have long been friends. Depp invited Manson to be his guest at a “Pirates Of The Caribbean” premiere, and now, it seems, they’ve sung a duet.
Their cover of “You’re So Vain” will be included on Manson’s upcoming album, Born Villain, due out May 1.

Viewers of ABC’s Once Upon a Time last night were treated to a new edit of the Dark Shadows trailer, featuring alternative shots and an unseen tag sequence featuring rocker Alice Cooper’s cameo appearance in the film.

As ironical it may sound, the CFDAs (Grammys of fashion) plan to honor Johnny’s – as he calls it – “no style-style” with this year’s “fashion icon award” for his “eccentric legacy of ‘wacky hats’ and ‘watch chains’”.
Johnny is the first guy to receive this award, but who else if not Johnny, who looks hot even in a potato sack, should get it?
The awards show will be held June 4th at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall and hosted by Seth Meyers.

Warner Bros have announced that Danny Elfman’s musical score for the new Dark Shadows movie will be released as a soundtrack album on CD. Recording sessions for the film have been taking place in recent weeks, as post production continues.
The disc is due out on May 8, just a few days before the release of the film.
