Teaming up with guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela, Zimmer sought a more Latin atmosphere for the newest ‘Pirates’ film. “We have Penélope Cruz playing Angelica, who’s Spanish, so I felt that there could be some Latin influences in the score for ‘On Stranger Tides,’” Zimmer said in a release.

Here is the trailer for the documentary “In Search of Ted Demme”, which also features an appearance by Johnny Depp. Ted Demme was the director of “Blow”, who died of a heart attack in 2002.
The artwork, which can also be found on the film’s official website, offer a look at the soon to be released “Art of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” book scheduled to hit stores around the same time as the film reaches theaters.

The Criterion Collection released today “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” on Blu Ray. The Criterion Collection is very well known for its high quality transfers, with top-notch image and sound. Not to mention the many bonuses that you can find on those discs. This is a treat for any Hunter S. Thompson/Johnny Depp/Terry Gilliam fan, so be sure to put it on your wish-list, if you fall at least in one of those categories.
