Johnny Visits Children’s Hospital in Vancouver

He’s done it again – Captain Jack Sparrow took time from his pirate duties to visit patients at a children’s hospital in Vancouver, Canada.

Johnny, in his role as Jack Sparrow from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie franchise, surprised patients at BC Children’s Hospital on Monday (August 14). According to the hospital’s Facebook page, Johnny spent over five hours meeting face-to-face with patients in the oncology, general pediatrics and neurology wards.

“Meeting Captain Jack was a dream come true for my daughter,” said Sarah Kertcher, mother of 7-year-old Madison, a patient at the hospital. “He never broke character once and was so generous with his time. He was truly here for the kids and it brought tears to my eyes to see how special he made each one feel.”

Johnny’s visit to the Vancouver hospital was not his first time making a unexpected appearance to fans — in 2015, he, dressed as Sparrow, surprised patients at a children’s hospital in Australia.

The fifth and most recent “Pirates of the Caribbean” film was released in May.

Visiting Supporters in Vancouver

Johnny has arrived in Vancouver and — much to the delight of his admirers — he’s been out and about on the town. Of course, he is there to film his latest movie project Richard Says Goodbye.

To the surprise of Vancouverites, Johnny, sporting disheveled hair, turned up outside the Blackbird Public House on Dunsmuir Street in the downtown business district on July 25. Ever a good sport, he was willing to pose for snaps and chats — and even the occasional kiss.

Fan videos and photos soon lit up social media.

“Platoon” Reunion

Platoon co-stars Johnny Depp, Charlie Sheen and Kevin Dillon reunited on Sunday in honor of the iconic war film’s 30th anniversary.

The 1987 film, which also starred Willem Dafoe, Forest Whitaker and Tom Berenger, won four Oscars, including Best Picture.

The picture was posted on Kevin Dillon’s official Instagram account and he wrote:

#platoon 30 year #reunion last night at #johnnydepp house #goodtimes @charliesheen

The film was one of Johnny’s first roles, and put Sheen, 51, in the role of a leading man following his memorable cameo performance in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off the year before.

In the 30 years since the film was made, all of the co-stars have gone on to lead very full lives. Depp recently opened up to ET about his teenage daughter, Lily Rose Depp.

Johnny Makes Comment About Assassinating Trump

So, I do NOT intend to start a discussion about political attitudes and which one is the “right” or the “wrong” one and which is the better. There is none! I dot NOT want to start an argument about whether Trump is a “good president” or not.

The aim of this post is to defend Johnny in a way. The internet is full of people either praising or criticizing Trump’s handling and public statements. Many people – townsfolk who isn’t in the public eye, politicians, actors, musicians – are vocal and speak out on Trump and his way of running the United States. Many of them do this publicly via social media, even politicians. Many people criticize him blisteringly and some even become offensive. So, why fuss about it while other actors actually fill their entire Twitter feed with severe tweets about Trump? He’s a normal, human and living person who calls for change in a situation where change is needed.
Edit: Another reason for posting this is to ask you to stop sending me threat directed at Johnny. Even if I could, I would NOT forward them to him. Please remember that this is an admirers’ site dedicated to him and we’re not in contact with Johnny or his management. Your e-Mails won’t reach him!

Below you’ll find a short clipping of Johnny’s comment. I decided to include because I do not want to have anyone believe that Johnny’s becomimng an assassinator. He’s doing what even powerful politicians are doing: asking people to act and change. While at the Glastonbury Festival on Thursday in the English village of Pilton, Johnny brought up the president prior to introducing his 2004 film, “The Libertine.”

“Can we bring Trump in?” Depp says to the crowd, which responds with widespread boos, according to videos of the remarks. “No, no, no. You misunderstand completely. I think he needs help. And this is going to be in the press and it’ll be horrible. But I like that you are all part of it. When was the last time an actor assassinated a president? I want to clarify: I’m not an actor. I lie for a living however it’s been a while. Maybe it’s about time.”

Visiting a Children’s Hospital in Haiti on His Birthday

Johnny has again shown how to be an admirable actor and role model and a humane philanthropist at the same time. On his 54th birthday (June 09), he visited a children’s hospital in his Captain Jack Sparrow costume in Haiti. I added several personal images to the photo gallery. I also added pictures of his birthday party that day.

Important note: Those images have alredy been spread all over the internet and it is difficult to find the original owners. I do not claim ownership of the pictures and I would really like it if the original owners of the photos would contact me so I can tag (if wanted) their websites, Twitter accounts, Instagram accounts or whatever. You can contact me via e-mail, Twitter, Instagram or by using our contact form. Or if you want any of those removed from our website, I will not hesitate to do so. Just let me know. Thank you!

If you have taken any images of Johnny that day and would like me to add the to our photo gallery, feel free to contact me either. I will give credit, of course!

Slow Updates + Pirates Premiere Pictures

I’m very sorry for the slow updates at the moment. The main problem was that I didn’t have any access to wordpress and therefore couldn’t update the site. My host worked this out for me and I’m finally able to post updates again.

First of all, have you guys seen the latest Pirates movie yet? If so, what do you think? How did you like it?

I also uploaded a couple of images of Johnny at the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell no Tales premiere in Hollywood. Enjoy!

Johnny Attends Lady Gaga’s 31st Birthday Party

First off all, happy belated birthday, Lady Gaga, from Jdorg. I gotta admit, I have always been a huge fan of her – mostly of her acoustic work though. I’m so glad to hear that Johnny got to celebrate with Gaga.

Lady Gaga rang in her 31st birthday in style on Tuesday night by partying with guests including Elton John and Johnny Depp. She hosted a big dinner for her friends at Gjelina restaurant in Venice, California, where her new boyfriend, talent agent Christian Carino, was also in attendance to dote on the birthday girl.

Other guests included DJ Samantha Ronson, while Elton’s husband David Furnish and their eldest son Zachary joined in the fun, too. Gaga is godmother to the six-year-old and his brother Elijah, four, who did not attend the event.

I will NOT post any candids of Johnny arriving at the party or something. I’m still hoping to find some official photos or personal ones from Gaga herself with Johnny. We’ll see.

People’s Choice Awards 2017 Images

I’m sorry for the delay, but those of you who’ve already checked out JDorg’s Twitter know that I’ve been extremely sick since Tuesday. I’ve been lying in bed with high fiber for days now. But I finally managed to update our photo gallery by adding pictures of Johnny at the People’s Choice Awards 2017. In the post below you can already watch his emotional speech as the thanks his fans for standing by him and supporting him.

I added 52 MQ of the show and 7 MQ backstage images to the gallery. Enjoy!

Johnny Thanks Fans for Support at 2017 People’s Choice Awards

Johnny Depp thanked fans for their support in a speech at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night – just days after finalizing his tempestuous divorce from wife Amber Heard.

While accepting the favorite movie icon award at the show’s close, Depp told the audience, “I came here for one reason tonight and one reason only. I came here for you, the people, who through whatever good times or bad, you know, have stood by me, trusted me. Thank you.”

He added, “You’ve very, very graciously invited me here tonight. I appreciate that very much – you have no idea how much I appreciate it.”

“I was very deeply affected by the kindness of your recognition and by the well wishes to my family and to myself, which is why it’s especially meaningful to me to be here in front of you and say thank you,” Depp said during his Wednesday speech,”and tell you that I truly feel that need to thank you because in all honesty we all know that none of us, especially me, wouldn’t be standing up here if it wasn’t for you tonight.”

He ended the show with a call-out to his late mother – who died in May 2015 – saying, “Give ’em hell, Betty Sue!”

Congratulations from JDorg for winning that award, Johnny! And thanks for being you! You’re perfectly perfect to us! We’ll always stand by you.

Johnny to Attend China’s Huading Awards in Los Angeles

Johnny Depp, Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone are among the Hollywood stars set to take part in Los Angeles’ latest — and perhaps most curious — addition to awards season.

The actors are set to attend China’s Huading Awards, to be held at L.A.’s Ace Hotel on Thursday (December 15). But before awards analysts start wondering whether they have to factor an odd-ball variable into their Oscars prediction formulas, it’s worth noting the Chinese award show’s unique history and content.

A live awards gala roughly akin to the Oscars, the Emmys, the Tonys, the Grammys and the People’s Choice Awards all rolled into one — with a strong Chinese twist — the event dishes out honors to talent from all fields of entertainment, from stage theater to film, pop music to TV, and even traditional Chinese opera. The film categories, crucially, hand out honors to movies from the year prior, so titles like The Martian, Fast & Furious 7 and Avengers: Age of Ultron are among the nominees in the show’s best global picture category this year (nominations tend to have a populist bent).
