John Wirt – the Advocate – Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride: Director Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are reunited for this stop-motion animated fantasy set to open September 23. (Just Announced: Opening in selected cities September 16) Set in a 19th-century European village, the film follows Victor (Depp), a bridegroom-to-be who disappears into the underworld. He marries the mysterious Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham Carter) there. Meanwhile, Victor’s despairing intended bride, Victoria (Emily Watson), waits for him in the land of the living. Voice talent includes Albert Finney, Joanna Lumley and Christopher Lee.
